Pleasantly surprised… for now.
Used to hang lace curtains, I was concerned about the strength of the adhesive due to some of the criticisms raised by other purchasers’ reviews. However, upon hanging the curtains, I was pleasantly surprised by the strength of the adhesive - so much so, that I would advise users with similar intentions as myself to resolve to place the hook in the desired position, first time. Ensure, also, that the surface is clean and smooth. Will these hold as they should? Only time will tell. If they fail, I will duly update this review, but, for now, so far so good.

Doesn't worth it
Do not spend you money with this ones, it's impossible to stick. I was really ambitious at the first attempt trying to hang a 2 meter net curtain. Not a change. At the end I was trying to hang a 40cm net curtain and even on this one it felt down. I've used a brand new one at every attempt, I never tried to re-use the same one. They're all in the bin now and I'm trying to find better options.

Good idea but not sticky enough
I wanted to hang a net panel over my back door. I hung it from a curtain wire and needed hooks to attach the wire to the door. The door is metal and I didn't want to drill holes into it. For this reason these hooks seemed like an ideal solution. They are a good idea and well designed. They are self adhesive but unfortunately just not sticky enough. I hung the curtain up but it kept falling down as the hooks simply fell off the door. I then stuck the hooks up with some UHU glue and this worked for about a week when the curtain again fell down. I have now bought some superglue which hopefully will be stronger and will do the trick. So the hooks are a good idea and are reasonably priced but just not sticky enough. Perhpas they will stick better to a different surface?PS (a few months later) I did stick these hooks up with superglue and they have remained up for months now. So this did the trick.

well because the hooks are perfect for the job
The reason I gave this item four stars is because the adhesive came off after a few days. Now your thinking why did I give it a high score, well because the hooks are perfect for the job, and all you have to do is use a resin glue,(where you mix two parts and apply before it hardens). I suppose any good glue would suffice. There you are it's simple.

Good value for money.
A couple of the hooks fell off. What you need to do is clean the area where you want to put the hooks and make sure it is grease free. No problem after that. They work a treat.

Good Hooks poor adhesion
The hooks are fine, the double sided tape used to fix it to a surface is rubbish.*I used JB Clear Weld Epoxy to fix them and held them in place overnight with a bit of masking tape until the epoxy cured.1. Remove the double sided tape carefully.2. Score the back of the hooks with a bit of sandpaper3. Use a good high strength epoxy like Araldite or JB Weld (clear) to fix it to the intended surface.

Lost adhesion almost straight away
Absolute waste of money

They will probably need extra adhesive of a stronger kind like superglue but to be fair all the ones I've ...
Item came quicker than stated. Couple of extra ones were in the bag too! They will probably need extra adhesive of a stronger kind like superglue but to be fair all the ones I've purchased in the past from stores have needed that too. Depends on the wall surface the stick to and also if you have them in a sun facing window or a radiator underneath. The heat warms the stickiness making them weaker. But I'm pleased!
