Ordered as a replacement but it’s not as robust as I’d like hence the 4 star review

No need to program it etc. Works immediately.

It does the job but the buttons are harder than the original and signal sensitivity is okay

We got this remote to replace the old one for our Sony Bravia, because one button did not work on the old one. The new one worked initially, but it quickly developped an intermittent fault where you have to press the button several timesbefore it works. Now it stopped working altogether so we are using the old one again with the one faulty button. There is no option to return this outside the 30 days which is not good enough.

There's not a lot to write about this. It looks like the original. It works like the original. It feels more cheaply made, but it IS a cheap remote. When I bought it, I had the assurance of free returns in case it didn't work. But it did, and I'm pleased with it. You'll need a couple of AAA batteries, and I'm using rechargeable that seem to do the trick.There are other remotes with a slightly more ergonomic layout and larger and colour accented buttons. I believe this is a close replica of the original it replaces, so cannot really complain. But if you need bigger buttons, then this won't be for you.I recommend it.
