POC Receptor BUG Adjustable 2.0 Ski Helmet

We researched and read great reviews on this helmet, purchased it and sadly within a little over a month the helmet broke, the piece that loosens and tightens it just broke off. Returned it and purchased a Smith. :-(

I've been using the helmet for a a little over a year now, and I like the comfort and fit of it. However, the shell of the helmet came unglued from the inside so it shifts around a lot. Not sure if it is a manufacture defect or what, I tried to take it out and glue it in again, but not much success.

I have bashed the crap out of this snowboarding and I love it. Fits well, venting is good and great all around.

I purchased a large and wear a hat with my helmet and this fits very well. Seems like good quality construction, no problems as yet.

We bought 2 of these for the 2014 season and they are a great product. The finish is excellent and the build quality is also really great. I love the removable ear pads for the warmer days and the overall design is great too. I like the dual skin concept of this design and the built in cooling works really well.Top marks, would recommend to anyone.

Nice looking helmet, fits great. Only cons what I point out is that this helmet is not the warmest, so for colder days consider using additional ski mask.

I decided to get myself a ski helmet this year having never previously worn one for skiing because basically it is now all but compulsory in Europe. This is a particularly nice helmet which echoes the distinctive skate-inspired style of POC's cycle/skateboard ranges. The Receptor Bug range is quite wide and includes top end helmets with integrated audio, cameras and GPS. My entry level Bug has none of those fripperies, but genuinely feels like a luxury item because the quality of the design and manufacture is so good.I particularly like the adjustment system, which is very precise and positive. It is a simple matter to get the helmet adjusted so it doesn't move about on the head, which is key to getting the maximum protection from it. The chin strap has a really comfy pad, so again it can be tightened properly and there is no chafing.Although there are no open vent holes, there is a clever system which channels air through the outer shell. This draws hot air from around your head. This can also be adjusted to a high or low level of air flow depending on the outside temperature.Mine is bright orange. I'm always easy to find in a crowd.

I am not an expert in helmets as I did not like wearing them in the past. Finally my friends persuaded me to get myself one. I am pleasantly surprised. It’s light, really well made and I don’t even notice it on my head. Highly recommend this one

The Receptor Bug was already excellent as it was, but the adjustable version is even better! For an adult the perfect fit can be achieved, for growing kids the helmet can grow with them.......

A good (but not amazing) quality helmet at a higher than average price. Mine came missing the small detachable peak but I couldn't be bothered to chase it.
