I have very fine hair and I needed a large barrette to hold my hair in place. I have blonde hair and I ordered this in 14k Rose Gold and it’s beautiful as well as functional and stylish. It is all metal, has a strong clasp, is 3.5 inches in length and there are no sharp edges. When I pull my beyond shoulder length hair back, this barrette holds all in place and it stays secure with no slipping. This is everything I needed in a sturdy clasp and will order again when needed. This is my first time using this product as I have always relied on the Goody brand for hair accessories and I will say, I’m very impressed with the quality and the color. I think their videos speak for themselves. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Probably works better on thicker to medium or coarser adult hair rather than super silky fine hair, but this held up the back of my hair well, where sone strands won’t reach the high pony tail holder. This is one of the longest ones I could find at 3”. I like it because it’s very wide but also very narrow and most importantly, it lies completely flat against the head. Most of the wide barrettes stick out and look weird when used above the neck area to keep the scraggly hairs off the neck. This stays in place but over the entire day, Id have to reclip it once or twice as the finer hairs do slip out. If someone had very fine silky hair, it might not work as well but works great on thick or medium hair. It’s a very pretty barrette too. .

These barrettes are really cute and they are the size that I was looking for. However, the material is flimsy and I'm concerned that the barrettes will bend out of shape fairly quickly and no longer snap together properly with regular use. The colors are as shown in the pictures.

I like to pull my hair back out of my face but my hair is so fine, it's hard to find barrettes that will stay in place without snagging and pulling. These work very well. They are kind of pricey for simple hair clips but if you have difficult hair or if you'd like something that looks a bit dressier than the standard Goody clips, then I think they are a very good choice. Hopefully the plastic coating will not crack as other hair clips always do, but I'm ordering a second set now so that I'll have them.

These are great. They hold well and do not pull my hair, more importantly they do not get stuck or pull out hair when removing. The size is nice, bigger than the standard, though I wish they were just a bit bigger so I could use them in place of a ponytail holder. Overall I like them so much I bought a second pack!

The clips are very large, I obviously didn’t do my homework when ordering them. Other than that they are nice and sturdy.
