Netis WF2419 300Mbps Wireless N Router (WF2419)

I have in the past used numerous wireless routers and AP's across my home to provide a consistent fast wireless service. All have in various forms failed to deliver on their promise of delivering a fast wireless service that provides consistent speeds in every area of my home.This is the first device that has achieved everything I need from a home wireless service and ticked all the right boxes when it comes to a Wireless Access Point and router.In the past I had to use two wireless AP's which were positioned at opposite ends of my home, using the same SSID on different channels and interconnected with a homeplug solution.Whilst this worked consistently, the speeds were still varied and inconsistent. Especially when streaming HD content like Netflix, or locally with Apple TV.Both of those wireless AP's have been replaced with this single device which has the wireless power to cover my house completely while delivering strong wireless signal and speeds.Absolutely brilliant device.The interface is not the cleanest, but you will soon get used to managing the device and configuring the hardware to work with my BT Infinty service was very very easy,

Really easy to set up, nice and powerful wireless strength. I now have fast 5ghz available where before I struggled with decent 2.4ghz signal on the Sky router. I had it up and running in less than 5 minutes, having ran speed tests I am happy to report the full speed of my 40mb fibre is now available wirelessly. Previously the sky router would run 10mb and sometimes 20mb slower than what my internet connection was. Huge difference when using AirPlay to Apple TV, much snappier and less buffering. Fantastic value AC router.

I have used it as a router on BT broadband over copper and BT fiber with no problems. I am now using it as a wired bridge. The signal is a lot stronger than the Bt smarthub 6. The menu is a bit finicky but if you go straight to the advanced menu it is alot easier.

This product took several weeks to arrive. It was well packed and undamaged. It came with a leaflet marked "Quick Setup" in English on the outside; however the contents were written entirely in Chinese. It came with a two pin non-UK mains adapter; however, I checked the input and output requirements for this which matched those of the UK and was able to plug it in using a shaver adapter. On doing this, I was able to access the router via my browser (using the standard 192.168.1.1 IP address) but then found that all the embedded/internal text in the router was also in Chinese. I then searched the web for downloadable user guides in English. I found some of these but despite having matching model numbers the images in the guides did not match the Chinese-annotated ones I saw on the screen. I have now requested to return the router - never knowing how it might have performed.

The Netis routers we received were fitted with European plug, so we therefor had to purchase UK adapter also

Excelente producto, mis dispositivos con Wifi responden mucho mejor y mas rápido en lo referente al envío/recepción de los datos. El rango de cobertura es el mismo que el de cualquier Router, nada extraordinario en este rubro. Por 200 pesos solucione todos los problemas de conectividad que tenia con el Router Wireless que proporciona Telmex.

Habe den Router aufgrund des guten Preis/Leistungsverhältnis bestellt und bin nicht enttäuscht worden - Einrichtung ging schnell und aus meiner Sicht relativ einfach, guter Durchsatz in Sachen WLAN, Gerät ist klein und leicht - bin zufrieden.

Sur le papier, le routeur wifi parfait : gros débit, multi bande 2,4 et 5 Ghz, bonnes possibilités de paramétrage..Le problème, c'est que dès qu'on "tire" dessus j'entends streaming en wifi ou copies de fichiers, ou NAS..le débit s'écroule par intermittence puis le transfert de données stagne sans raison jusqu'a planter.Vraiment dommage car je l'avais acheté pour compléter une freebox mini qui ne fait pas la bande de 5Ghz : moralité mieux vaut un wifi mimo en 2,4Ghz à 300Mbps dans un environnement saturé qu'un signal 5Ghz à 800 Mbps qui s'écroule dès qu'on sollicite le routeur..il attend dans son carton. J'ai pourtant fait 2 mises à jour de firmware, donc peut etre que le souci n'est que logiciel ? Je reste convaincu qu'il n'y a pas de miracle, il faut mettre le prix pour avoir du bon matos
