Just OK for the job
The tobacco has to have the right moisture content which isn't too high. Actually, the leaf needs to be on the dryer side for this cutter to work best which produces a little tobacco dust. If the leaf is too moist then it is more difficult to cut the leaf and it has a tendency to cut more irregular and wider than the prescribed cut size. Good for producing low volume.
