Great milk frother
This frother does exactly what it says on the tin. Froths milk. Hot or cold. The noise reported by some owners is simply the top bit rattling slightly against the bottom unit whilst it’s spinning. It’s almost silent if it’s placed on correctly with the top on firmly. Even the rattle is not particularly intrusive. The main benefit to this particular frother as opposed to other, cheaper ones, is the ease of cleaning after use.Cheaper frothers use spindles which run through the base of the frother and are permanently connected. What this means is that the whole unit must be picked up as one and washed. This is very awkward as you have to be very careful not to get water in the power connection at the base of such frothers. Not so with this Lavazza unit as it’s whisk is induction powered by magnets, which basically means there is no physical connection from the top(cup) to the base(power) of the unit. The benefits of this are twofold. Cleaning is a doddle, as you don’t have to worry about getting water in the electrical connection, (it’s even dishwasher safe-although I just give it a quick hand wash after every use) and the chance of the unit ever leaking is pretty much zero.To get the best froth from this (as with others, also) its best to use “full fat” milk. Other milks will froth, but not as good as “full fat” because of the fat content in the milk.I am reliably informed that the person who designed this lavazza frother was also responsible for the Nespresso Aerocino frothers, which is no bad thing!.I’m really pleased with this frother. If it’s used as per instructions you will get perfect results.

Quality, easy to use and wash milk frother
Excellent product.Creates a lot of froth with skimmed milk in both hot and cold frothing modes. Can serve 2 generous cups.Creates a lot of froth in cold frothing mode with semi-skimmed milk. With semi-skimmed milk, it creates less froth and more milk in hot frothing mode, which I like as well. Also has a function to make chocolate, it creates a very smooth hot chocolate with nice amount of froth. The hot chocolate is lukewarm so if not sufficiently hot you can put it in the microwave for 20s.Quick and very easy to use, as well as to wash.Highly recommended.

Great Milk Frother - Big Hit.
Bought this as a Christmas present for an extremely fussy father. Needed something that would 1. Heat the milk to a high enough temperature 2. Create coffee shop level froth! 3. Be easy to operate for man in 70’s.This ticked all 3 box’s. The unit is nice and neat and slick looking. Will fit perfectly in his kitchen with limited storage space. I opted for this model over others as the jug has a nice handle on it which is great for my dad who has some mobility issues. There is one multifunction button, clear fill lines on the jug and 2 frothing fittings inside making this so simple to operate. The main thing for me was making sure this would heat milk enough as my dad is one of those who likes their coffee/latte HOT. The instruction manual tells you the easy process to follow to heat and froth cold milk and this passed his high standards 😬 right from the first cup.Definitely well worth the money.

Almost too much foam
I'm sure like many, used the 'quick-start' manual, which really isn't that clear, and just got warm milk a couple of times. Then when figured out separating the whisk from the hood, didn't get best results first couple of times, but that might've been that particular milk. Since, almost get too much foam, no matter how much milk I use, so tend to set if off before I put the mocha pot on, so have enough time to knock out any big bubbles and to get a little more textured milk beneath the foam.I bought mainly because I liked the separate jug from a cleaning perspective, but there are some very cool aspects to the design of this thing. It can rattle a little, but then, just reseat a little and it doesn't. But the magnetic aspect of the whisk and hood thing, plus possibly induction heating of the jug, seems to work great. Just so easy to clean! While the stepped jug is a little strange to pour, and think it's worth decanting into separate warmed jug.All said, this is totally over the top gadget to just do one or two things, but I still like it. Plus, putting maximum amount of milk for foam is possibly only just enough for 2 cups. But then, it's quick enough to do more than one and 99% of the time, I'm making coffee for myself. I don't want to like this, especially after I saw it apparently available in red too, but there's some really cool design features.

Compact induction milk frother
My old Severen induction milk frother broke down and I needed a replacement. I don't trust myself using a regular frother because I tend to overfill and cause all the the electrics to switch off. The Lavazza Milk Frother is induction and I bought this "used" at £41.50. It's is always a bit of a risk buying "used" electrics. However, I was not disappointed. When I received it and opened the box, it was clear that nothing had in fact been used. The frother is brilliant, whips up frothed milk really well (I use whole milk). It is easy to use and clean - I put the jug in the dishwasher but not the top, as it is plastic. Great buy!
