The station is great fo general or professional use. Has a clear illuminated display, needs to be plugged into power for it to work. The display can be switched off and a button cell keeps the station working, but unplugged the station loses contact with the wireless outdoor sensors, and you have rescan for a signal again. The display's illumination can have different colours, but some make the display dull to read. The station is easy to set up. Recommend the sensors to be high up and in open area to give accurate readings .A press of a scanning button on the rear of the station soon makes contact with the sensors. The station gives good detailed information and 24 hour review of the weather. The temperature might be a problem, as the sensor will be exposed to direct sun light so would heat it to higher than the natural temperature .

Easy enough to set up, and the remote unit quickly connected to the display even although some 50m away and through a wall. The display itself is very clear and nicely bright with options to set various display modes. The only problem I encountered was with the radio controlled clock in that it wasn't picking up the signal. Tried leaving fir several hours and moving the display as ly to window to try to improve reception but still no signal picked up. Left it another day to see if anything happened but no. So set it manually which was fine ( it has auto changing daylights saving) left it and then next day it had picked up the signal! No idea why but I guess setting the time did something. So all good and very happy with unit. It seems accurate to me but I've not checked it.

This appliance was a Christmas present and was easy to assemble and was quickly in use once a suitable location had been identified. In urban areas finding a location high enough and away from obstructions that might affect the readings is not easy. It will not be straightforward to change the batteries on the sensor stack. The display is comprehensive and easy to read - I did not realise that the display had to be connected permanently to the mains thus reducing its flexibility - the supplied button battery is purely to preserve data when the display is being moved and has to be disconnected from the mains. As with all appliances like this there is a data lag and accuracy is difficult to confirm - I suspect that the rainfall gauge is probably the least accurate of all the sensors.Overall, given the cost I am pleased with the appliance and happy to recommend it to others

It worked for 18 months,try resets,new batteries nothing works. Won’t trust Youshiko again.The display unit is ok.

Regrettably the display unit failed to work after I had unpacked it. I posted a report to Amazon. I received a telephone call from the seller shortly after the posting. He asked me to carry out a number of resets and checks but it soon became clear that there was a problem with the display. The seller immediately posted me a replacement after checking that it worked. I received this shortly after and the weather station is now working very well.I have had a number of weather stations over the years. This unit was easy to set up. In addition the wireless range is excellent - far better than any of my previous “well known” purchases.To summarise- excellent service from the seller and an excellent product.

Build quality of weather station is good. Inside dispay is clear and accurate

I bought this weather station for my partner, our old one had a faulty transmitter. It was just three years old.The Youshiko weather station is so much better, it is neater and much easier to put-up and install.My partner is a dedicated weather watcher and is really pleased with this one. The coloured display is very easy to read and we are especially pleased with the wind chill info as I then know to wether to wear a hat or not! It is very interactive which is a plus.

I bought this weather station in 2018. The outdoor sensor/anemometer lasted until 2022. I bought a second complete unit in 2022 but the outdoor sensor/anemometer failed again in 2024. The system is easy to set up and works well but doesn't last very long.
