I'm a Dewalt fan and own many of their products...I expected to get the same rugged quality with this thing...It's not. It does what it was designed to do nothing more. SO don't go thinking this one will be good for making floorplans and graphs quickly. It will measure accurately and connection is simple...I would say this is more for putting in windows and such than sketching.

This this is amazing and makes my job sooo much easier! The Bluetooth feature is beyond amazing! It’s so simple to take a picture of your project and mark up the measurements!! I wish I would have bought this thing years ago!

It's a decent measure. Doesn't zap batteries and fairly easy to use. It definitely has some issues with long measurements, especially in the sun, and when you take short measurements it takes like 10-20 seconds to register. I've always had problems with DeWalt laser measures. The expensive one I bought started having issues within a year and DeWalt basically told me I was full of it and brushed me off. We'll see how this one turns out. Beats Bosch, that one is garbage.

Bought this as an anniversary gift for my husband and he loved it! DeWalt is a trustworthy brand and it didn't disappoint. He had just taken some measurements for a project and using this gave almost exactly the same measurements - he was very pleased. And I didn't have to hold the measuring tape! ;-)
