This is loud.i thought taking my Beats Pill XL out and around with my mates was loud and cool enough but the Ion Tailgater is at least 2 and a half times louder.weighing at 4.3kg with 50watts and a 6.5inch woofer is worth it. I always take this out with me at the weekends to partys and parks. This covers a good small/medium crowd indoors or out quite impressively considering its size. Love having all the must have functions such as the built in rechargeable battery, USB port to charge phone/tablet, aux input, mic input and a built in radio with am and fm.walking around with this speaker is comfortable to handle and well protected with the hard rubber plastic ends at all eight corners.would love to see further models and greater changes to the speaker.it is a struggle to carry this speaker in one hand for a period of time due to the deep curved handle and the Ion app for this speaker is clearly out of date and doesn't support equalising for Spotify or Soundcloud which I use mainly for my music. Fortunately, you can use the EQ on your phone (iPhone) or on Spotify (in-app) when the bass on the speaker becomes too much and starts that crackling sound.The speaker came 3 days after purchase and for this amount and with all its features and considering all this power and battery length and its portability it's absolutely worth it.

When you turn it to the highest volume, it does not soud good, trust me guys if you buy this you won't be able to listen to it with high volume, but rather than that amazing product with very low quality microphone
