Is it possible to get a replacement hand pump? Mine is broken and my hoover doesn’t fit the nozzles on the bags

They sell one on Amazon 3.69 but I would just buy a pack of bags with pump for spares personally

Has anyone used to store cardboard/plastic boxes for collectables eg status or action figures?

I believe the cardboard boxes will get damaged when you vacuum the air out as it compresses significantly
