Blown away
Wow, this blower has exceeded my expectations. First use I was a little disappointed as the batteries (5.0a) only lasted about 20 mins. Then I realised that was on the max setting, so recharged and put it in midday way setting. Battery lasted for about an hour - more than enough to shift wet leaves.I would advise using the middle setting of 3 for most jobs as it's more than capable. You only need the higher setting for more stubborn leaves. It's light, easy to use, variable power.Only negative is that it draws air from the back, so you don't want anything loose near that.

Makita, do you need to know any more?
I bought this because the mains powered one I had was a pain to have to drag extension leads up the long drive and to the bottom of the garden. I considered petrol but then you have all the grief that brings with it. As I have a number of makita tools I had battery packs already so made sense. Tool is super powerful and blows the berries that seem to fall at an alarming rate clean away even when wet. I have used it for cleaning out the workshop to blow out dust and all sorts of things. Battery life is good and we blow a 200 meter drive clean and it uses about 1 of the 4 bars on the battery pack. Only thing is dont get your tshirt or any other appendage for that matter near the intake as you tend to get sucked in! Great tool good job Makita

Very good blower.
Brilliant blower, drop a couple of batteries in the back and it is perfectly balanced, it is has a slow start, variable power switch and the trigger is also variable power which in real life means that you don't keep starting it and blow things around in all directions, you can be very gentle or blow a gale and all under complete control.I bought mine because I was fed up trying to start my petrol one and being exhausted before I had even started working, plus with all the control I can blow the leaves off my gravel drive without blowing the gravel around. All in all a great bit of kit.

Great blower, but drains the batteries
Light and simple to use, powerful blower, works well and easy to direct. Six speed, but beware on max speed batteries last about 20 mins before they need recharging. I used 5.0A and 6.0A. I found from previous experience use some silicone spray to make the joining of the plastic components easier to assemble and disassemble.

Blow you away
Makita stuff is always excellent. Takes 2 batteries which will last at least half and hour. Easy to use.Keeps the patio lead and debris free.

Makita DUB362Z LEAF BLOWER ð ð ð ð ð
Wow this blower is awesome, it was purchased to keep a gravelled area that seems to attract all the leaves ð ð in the UK âđ anyway on full power not only does it shift the leaves but also the gravel ðĪŠ.It's not heavy and really well balanced when you've got the shoulder strap on.The battery life is as expected 2 x 4amp batteries last around 10 minutes when using full power and 2 X 5amp about 15 minutes. If you need a cordless blower I would recommend it especially if you are already a member of the Makita family ð

It's quiet. It doesn't stink of 2 stroke fuel and it's powerful
This is the answer to sweeping leaves up SILENTLY. I wish all my neighbours instructed their gardeners to use this type. Its very powerful with dry leaves, let's wait for winter with heavy wet leaves 18" deep. I'll write another review then.
