AEG CDK 4229 Kids Line - Red/Yellow/Blue

Avoid this like the plague. One very disappointed and tearful four year old. The screw on the battery cover was broken so it was impossible to open. Then when we used a mains supply it failed to read his new Trolls CD, stating there was an error. Will be returning. Very cross as it's ruined my son's Christmas :-( Sorry to burst your bubble AEG but this is NOT perfect in form and function at all :-(

This item is dangerous to young children. I bought this for my grandson at Christmas. He hasn't used it yet and brought it to us today to start using it. We put batteries in and one of the batteries exploded and started to heat up causing the wrapping on the battery to melt. We did not receive a plug with this product so batteries were the only issue. AMAZON wont let me return it because it is over the purchase time. I appreciate that returns should be more straightforward, but when I try to return this item it just prompts me to buy it again. NOT SATISFACTORY I have spent 45 minutes trying to find some way to alert you to this as a FIRE HAZARD

Despite the reviews I decided to give this a go, as I thought it would be tougher and child friendlier. One little bump and it needs to go into the rubbish. It lasted a week.

Really good CD player for our son - it's a shame it doesn't come with a plug and cable in the box. Either order with one (available through amazon) or buy some rechargable batteries.

Never worked, does not play disk and screw to battery pack was broken!!! Contacted seller but no response. Absolute con!!!!!

This product was bought as a present and it is now too late to return it but it is not a good product, very cheaply made and we were never able to get it to work ... !

Absolute garbage. Never really read any of the CD's very well and the skip forward button doesn't work. Avoid it like the plague.
