Fantastic idea, poorly made product
I bought a pair of these 9 months ago. I had two pairs fail on me with daily use but they were handled very carefully always. The customer service (only available over email, no phone support) got those replaced reasonably promptly. But a month and a half ago my third pair suddenly stopped charging and so I emailed support again, and they requested more information, which I sent to them, and I haven't heard back yet despite sending multiple follow up emails. I loved the glasses while they worked, but right now I just can't recommend them. Update- the company finally got back to me after 4 months and said they would not do anything to help because they already replaced my glasses. Crap quality, terrible customer service. Don't buy anything from them.

Bad battery.
EDITED REVIEWBattery dies in 2 days. Stated battery life is 7 days. Will return and reorder. Perhaps my current unit has a defective battery. It's a Hastle.------- --- --------I got the new pair of glasses and the battery still dies in less than 3 days. But I gave it 4 stars because the app has a preset mode where I can make it fully dark and disable most of the tint with each button press so less pressing of the button. I like the thought that went into it. However the preset icon has to be reset (turned off then on again) every time the app is started because it doesn't get stored in memory I guess. The lightest setting of the glasses still has a dark tint which is too much for my liking.

Cool and Useful Tech
I liked him so much I ordered another set for a family member. These glasses are absolutely amazing! Very light weight, and sleek looking, you would never expect the technology that they hide so well. The only way that you would notice that these glasses are not a normal set of wayfarers is by some metal contacts on the bottom of an arm. That is the charging port for your new sound system, and an amazing technology that lets them go light to dark with a push of a button or the slide of a control in an app.Seriously, worth every penny! The app is easy to use, the glasses turn heads, and the fact that you don't have to take them off when it gets dark, you can just lighten them up makes these truly all day and night wearable!

Don’t work/ Don’t waste your money
I received these as used even tho I bought them and paid for new ones. It came in a repackaged box. They were used and scratched up. Very disappointed in this but thought I would still give it a try. They don’t even work. After fully charging them the dusk part doesn’t work unless you connect it to the app. So I did that. Once connected to the app it work for like 20 seconds before it disconnects its self from the app and shuts down and powers off. Total waste of time and money. Don’t buy them.

Nice concept, stopped working and got new ones with warranty
Update 8/23:After posting a 1 star review I was contacted by the "Director of Customer Happiness". Long story short, the brand made things right and shipped me new glasses. Package and content looks good, so it's a new begining. It seems like the quality has improved and the most important, they do listen to customers and take action on feedback.original post:Nice idea, lovely package, unboxing experience was the best.Actual function of glasses dimming stopped working in less than 3 months. And the glass started to separate from frame. It's a shame such pricey glasses have this poor quality. Unable to return since I no longer have the box where it came with. Who keeps boxed nowadays?

Disappointing
I ordered Dusk Lite Smart Glasses thru Amazon. They arrived late then lied saying they arrived on time. The packaging was very nice, but accentuated thr dumbest ways to be environmentally friendly so I instantly wasn't a fan. Before attempting to program them, I used them with just the button for tint adjustment. This might not seem like the biggest issue, but they are not like advertised in that they do not work instantly. You must hold the button for 3 seconds to wake up the glasses which works about half the time, hold for another 3 until it works, then click 3 more times slowly for the tint to change. Instead of instantly changing to sunglasses, it usually takes around 10 seconds which is a dealbreaker for me using them at the start of poker hands at poker tables. I tried to see if downloading the app would help. To my surprise, there is no searchable app associated with these glasses on the Google Play Store. The instructions say there is so I went directly to their website and of course the app will not work with my phone and the bluetooth will not work without the app. A gimmick product that is made impossible to use for the typical person and way overpriced.

A little too expensive for a Manual Luxury
by manual I mean that the lenses don't darken automatically which woulda been great. Maybe Dusk 2.0 can have an ambient light sensor. Now on to the rest of my review. I'm not to confident about the quality of the frames they feel very low cost and I bet they'll be fine though it doesn't inspire any confidence. The audio is subpar but no one is buying smart glasses for their audio quality. The volume in certain occasions was too low to use in some medium volume places. The lenes feel like a flimsy plastic which remind me of soda bottle plastic but a little bit stiffer though not by much. Ray-ban Stories come with a charging case at $299 Ampere sells it separately and beyond the case I purchased the Stories for my wife and they sound better and feel more sturdy. For a little more then what the Dusk and the charging case costs you can buy a Pair of Stories with the transition lenses which will dim automatically. Now having them manually dim is a great feature but the price is a little too up there for that selling feature. The dimming never seamed to be exact for each lense which made me feel i had on polarized 3d glasses from the movie theatre since one always seemed dimmer. The dimming per lens was not perfect either. They had a uneven gradient. I like the concept and the product definitely has a future that not many see yet since it's one of the first ones doing it but maybe on Dusk 3 they fix those things and I'll give them another try
