Good story-telling and artwork

Volume 2 of the Silent Hill Omnibus is far superior to volume 1, in my opinion. Unlike the confused story-telling which was evident in volume 1, this volume collects three stories made up of four sections, originally as they appeared in magazine form, and perfectly explains the connection between the characters of the stories and the mysterious town of Silent Hill. Equally, the artwork compliments the stories and it is easy to relate the artwork to the story-telling, unlike in volume 1. It is a shame that volume 1 wasn't drawn and told by the authors and artists of volume 2 but maybe one day I'll try volume 1 again.
