New Formula Appalling
PHD have changed the formula of this product. It tastes and smells different and not in a good way. It doesn’t mix well like it used to either. I’ve been using the mint choc flavour for over five years but won’t buy again. PHD...if you’re reading this...you’re going to go out of business unless you go back to the old formula. Shame because it was delicious.

Just awfulness in a bag disguised as healthy shake.
I thought I'd give this a try from my usual shake but I wish I hadn't. Its horrible. Its far too sweet, doesn't mix well, looks like flour and water and tastes awful. I warn you not to buy this rubbish, I still have almost a full 2 kg left after trying it twice, the 2nd time was for confirmation that its as nasty as the 1st taste even after a good shake of the bag incase there was a settling issue with the ingredients but it was still as grim. Awful, nasty and grim looking stuff, and it wasn't even as cheap as my lovely usual shake, which I'll be sticking to from now on. PHD my eye! Making it sound scientific wont make it taste or look any better!

Did they change the recipe????
I've ordered this 4 times and it's been great. However this time, the taste is completely off, it actually made me feel sick! Wither it's just a bad batch or they've changed the receipt it's just not what it was before.

New formula sucks
Like the other reviewer said - they've changed the stuff in the box. Used to be a nice tasting and easy mixing protein powder. On the plus side, the tub lasted three times as long because I've been avoiding drinking it.

Chocolate flavour now tastes awful
Been taking pharma whey for a couple of years now and always kept coming back as tasted nice and mixed well.However they've obviously changed something as this latest batch of chocolate tastes awful. It now has a similair taste to the cheap and nasty protein powders you can buy which is not what you expect from a reputable company. I shall have to find myself a new protein powder for future use as won't be buying this again.

First Batch Great! Second batch not so much...
Now on my second tub of this stuff. If this review was based off of the first then it would be five stars without a doubt. Unfortunately, the second batch has been somewhat of a car crash. For some reason the second batch is extremely difficult to dissolve and will leave clumps no matter what I do to it which is extremely unpleasant. I cannot think why it's performing so different to the first and I don't want to have to take a chance everytime I buy some that it might be faulty. The taste, VFM and effectiveness is great it has to be said but sadly this issue has overshadowed them. Will try another brand after this batch.

Great powder, poor packaging.
Great product, great flavour, a definite benefit to my training and recovery. Use every day.Second drum of this I've had now. First drum lid was a problem, I thought may have just been unlucky but second one the same.Packaging very poor- plastic container is fine but the tin screw threaded lid is shocking. A battle to refit every single time. It cross threads every time. Will not buy again due to this packaging flaw.
