Dreambaby Stop Slam

Terrible product, door will only close half the time even with the soft close. Something inside the cheap plastic device get stuck and keep the door open. Buyer beware.

What a brilliant idea to solve my door slamming problem. Though it was designed to prevent little hands from being stuck in a door, it works great for households that don't have kids too. We had a heavy door to the garage that would slam constantly. When it did, the whole wall would rattle. It drove me nuts. I purchased this little baby, and it worked great. No more slamming! You just have to slowly close the door, and works as usual. It takes a little bit of practice to find the right amount of force to close it without resistance. If you give to much resistance, it won't close. That's by design. But, this is really no problem. Overall, a cheap and elegant way to solve an annoying problem.I highly recommend this.

I followed the directions to install this and it works as described. I have not had any problems with it getting stuck or failing to work. If you purchased this for a door that slams by itself due to wind or gravity then this will work great. If you purchased it to prevent children from slamming doors and chopping fingers off, it may not work so well. Thats what we purchased it for and it definitely helps (no fingers lost yet), but its not a perfect solution. What happens is if you slam the door, it will catch and prevent the initial slam, but if your child is still pushing on the door, the door will do this little bounce and then close anyway with as much force as the child is pushing with. So it will help and provide the fingered person with a split second chance to withdraw said finger, but its not perfect as the child can still slam the door and chop off a finger if the other person isn't fast enough.

Works ok. It is difficult to shut the door at times but once you get used to it it is fine. Was denting my aluminum door so I used an extra thick piece of felt as padding.

I wish I could rate less than 1. This is a total piece of junk. It totally doesn’t work or even fit on the door frame. When I called customer service they asked me to email them a video. I sent the video but they told me how their server was in Australia so it may be a little bit before they called me back. It’s been a week and apparently that’s not enough time. This thing is useless. Don’t waste your money.

These work as they say. Easy to install. And they were cheap. We put them on every door in our house. Works great, nice peace of mind. It's been 4 weeks, and we are used to closing doors slower now. We have a walking 8 month old and a 4 year old who is oblivious to her tiny fingers

Product is poorly made in my opinion.

I will not give it one star because it is junk. The sprink doesn't work in the product. It gets stuck and jams up. Sad to say, I'm returning it! I highly recommend everyone not to buy this product, you will be disappointed....
