Four Stars
A typical regency romance novel. Very enjoyable to read. Nothing too serious.

Enjoyed it
This is the story of Anabelle, who wishes to find a husband, but also wishes to marry for love. Meanwhile, Draven has no interest in marriage at all, but finds himself hopelessly attracted to Anabella and unable to leave her alone. For those who care one way or the other, this is not a clean romance. Just a heads up.I enjoyed this book. I liked both Draven and Anabelle. The bit with the meaning of flowers was well done, too. This story was a pleasant read.

Flowery romance
There is so much in this book that is unlikely, including the fact that I read it all the way through! If you can ignore glaring social inaccuracies, totally unlikely title names, conversation gems such as “ bunk up together” and “are you thick?” - then dive in and enjoy this version of historical romance . A highlight for me was the bouquets and the meaning of flowers.

Belle of the Ball is Anabelle and Draven’s love story - not an unusual tale but told very well and some great Hot scenes

Annabelle was searching for a husband and had a list of candidates. The man of her dreams was not on the list and was closer than she thought. Interesting characters and wonderful story.
