Low Quality
I bought this item to replace a long lasting, better quality unit. When this arrived, I could see that the materials were cheaper and not to the quality of past designs. It lasted 4 months and basically fell apart. Don't waste your money.

Seems to be mostly metal, quite heavy and works more smoothly than the old silver one I used for years. Follow the instructions and you will be very happy with this opener. Do not relax your grip on the ears until you have extracted the cork.update 11/19, it broke, steel shaft pulled out of body -un-repairable. Downgrade to 1 star. Original rabbit lasted years. these knock offs are all junk. Going back to regular old simple cork screw.

Faulty
I’ve had other rabbit wine openers that worked great, but this one gets stuck in the cork every single time. It’s not built correctly and doesn’t even work as it should. Don’t waste your money!

Quality of product.
Purchased product Nov 19,2019. Worked fine at first. Now when trying to open wine bottle, the cork gets pushed inside bottle. I have tried 4 more times and still have problem with cork going inside bottle. Have to use regular corkscrew .
