Rods
Don't think twice about buying this product. Its brilliant. Took a little while to draw a grid in pencil on the work surface to ensure perfect line up. Because when you stick the rods down they're going no where.

Excellent product. Does the job of protecting the worktops but you can still appreciate the beauty of the worktops underneath. Bought these after one of the toughened glass protectors, although stating they would withstand heat up to 250 degrees, disintegrated into pieces when a tray from the oven was put on top. These are having no problem at all in dealing with this heat. Several friends have admired them and are on the road towards purchasing them. Stick well to the surface and haven't moved since I put them on. They are a bit pricey but then again you get what you pay for and these are definitely worth buying.

Great product
I was disappointed that these are not more widely available - even Ikea don't do them! Ridiculous that those metal rack trivets are the only offering in most places, since they may be dangerous, are invariably irritating as they move, get in the way and take up yet more space on the counter. This item is so easy to apply, effective, and an efficient use of space. I also used them for 10 years in my last house and they are simply great value for money and give a clean, streamlined look to your kitchen counter.

Great product that saved me a lot of money :)
I bought two sets of this product following a little accident in the kitchen. I left a hot pan on a brand new worktop next to the cooker - just for a second and... I burned it. The worktop just blackened and bubbled up and the whole thing looked a right mess. I found this product and after reading about it, I had a desperate idea how to avoid the expensive resurfacing of the worktop. A warning - the self-adhesive bars stick very strongly - measure and mark carefully the correct places first as there is no second chance to get it right. Once in place, the bars covered all burned marks and the whole hot-grill-plate-next-to-the-cooker-thing looks now carefully planned, nice and shiny. Phew!

Great Looking
Love these rods. I'd seen my nephew with a set and they looked really good in his kitchen so I bought some too. They are great quality with a nice heavy weight to them. I didn't stick them down as I prefer to have them loose....however, they tend to stay in place. Really good quality and very good value for money.

Top Class Product and superb value.
We have had a set of these for many years and they have always been solid and perfect for the job. I dropped a knife onto another part of the Kitchen work top and so in order to cover the cut mark, I looked for another set and found them on Amazon. They arrived in super fast time and were very easy to fit. After leaving for 24hrs, as per instructions, they are as solidly fixed as the previous ones. This is an ideal product and actually does what it is designed for. The ones that have been in place for all those years have withstood Very Hot pans straight from the hob and oven. They clean up easily and do not budge or come loose, even when cleaned with kitchen cleaning products. This product is excellent value for money and I would recommend it to all.

May not last long
Have had these for a few months now but one of the rods has worked itself away from the adhesive so I have to keep sitting it back on but it slides about a bit. It's not one on the outside of the cluster which would have been easier just to remove without noticing too much but removing it completely from its position would leave an inconvenient gap. If I had paid a lot of money for them I would have been more upset but you get what you pay for I suppose.
