Rhode Island Novelty Water Wheel Timer (4 Timers)

I used these during a beginning of the year science lab with middle schoolers (making observations and writing explanations). One of them didn't make it due to mishandling by the students but the other three are still going strong. I keep one on my desk and the students always ask if they can turn it over. They love them! Very relaxing to look at when you need to give yourself a time out. :-)

I ordered 4 water wheels. So disappointed. Wheels are misaligned making it impossible for the liquid to consistently turn the wheels. In fact on two of the wheels were so poorly aligned the liquid completely missed the wheels. Returned items and received full refund.

Good - Product is individually packaged and shipped in groups of 4 pcs. The colors are vibrant and works as expected. Bad - Unfortunately, the product leaks when it gets warm especially in transit to you. The defective parts are still functional and by itself, the leak would not be noticeable. However, when you place them side by side with other non-leaked parts, the results are a little disappointing.

As depicted in the picture, I thought I was getting a variety of colors. All 4 came in yellow

Fun little timers. I use them to reduce stress. I never really timed them to make sure they were four minutes or whatever.

Wonderfully calming tool that the students enjoy using. The only downside is that after a while, they dry up but they do last for a little while.

I love this toy. I bought this from a christmas fair when i was small and my brother and i loved it so much. I loved how the holy spirit would make me feel when playing with this toy, it was magical. Now i like it for the good memories in the past. I would like to find one with 2 colors that separate when turned over, which i also had when I was small. Those were cool the density of the oils were different the oils would separate when flipped when mixed together. I wish i could go back to that fair, I would feel the holy spirit in the fair and I bought a clapping toy, and stickers that smelled nice, and little thingamagigs that I would love, I miss them.
