Works Well, Brilliant Value and Good Price.
Well over the last few years renovating my house and using the garage as a defacto woodwork shop I finally became so hacked off with sawdust and wood particulates from planers and router benches I bought this.Cheap - and the same as the other brand marketed vacuums in a similar price range. I didn't see any point in buying a different more expensive brand with the only differences being a higher price and different colour. It comes with a range of adaptors that fit my fixed machines with no problem at all. Hose is long enough to be useful - but no extra if that makes sense. The vacuum has a fine particulate cartridge filter and a whole heap of pre-filters supplied that go over it to preserve it. Should last a long time before needing changing. Not too noisy in use although like any vacuum it's a relief when it's turned off. Enough power to remove all the chippings and dust when working on my machines so no issues there.Overall a great machine vacuum that any workshop should have. Could save your lungs.

This is a noisy vacuum but shifts a lot of saw dust for a modest amount of money
I bought this for use with my table saw as I found that using my table saw without a decent vacuum was causing the saw to block after a few months of use.The vacuum is slightly louder than my table saw so no real issues with noise, but it would be nice if it was a little quieter. The vacuum came with a 2 metre hose and a bunch of clips etc. Everything I needed to connect it up.I use it with a smart socket so that it comes on when my saw is switched on.I have emptied it once so far and it was half full after quite a few months of use.I have also tried it just as a vacuum which it did quite a good job when there is a lot of waist on the floor, but would not replace a normal shop vac in my opinion. So would I recommend or buy again, yes, great product that does what you would expect at a fair price. If the manufacturer added a socket for your tool on the vacuum it would be a 5 star shop tool.

Ideal for a home workshop
Very effective. I have it connected to the dust outlet of my table saw and it has reduced sawdust by 80% or more! I can also use it to suck up dust from my other power tools which don't have suction fittings. Very impressed. A little noisy but that doesn't bother me particularly.

Great for a hour (If you're lucky)
Brilliant at first but after 3rd use started sparkling and popping.I had an electrician check it out and the motor was completely worn. Total use time around 30 minutes. Very poor quality.

Fantastic unit for the price
Having spent 3 months working on numerous carpentry projects I became sick and tired of my £40 argos vacuum. The tiny capacity meant emptying the unit 2 or 3 times in a single use, and the filter was constantly clogging up with sawdust. Evidently using a domestic vacuum for industrial use just wasn't working out."How much better can a £90 vacuum from SIP be?" I wondered. Much better as it turned out.Firstly the unit is grey not black as per the picture, but that didn't matter. The cylinder while not physically huge stores a huge amount of waste, and the large 100mm hose will ensure it'll never get clogged up.To my surprise the unit comes not only with the 5 piece adapters (which fit everything i've tried to plug into it) but also the filter and 5 vacuum bags to keep the dust out of the filter. So far this setup seems very effective and the vacuum hasn't lost any suction in the few days I've used it.Better still, I can plug in the vacuum attachment from my old argos unit and use it as a traditional vacuum and that really shows that this is a far better quality unit. For the price, you can't go wrong. If you're even an occasional woodworker or hobbyist, this will help to keep away all the dust nicely.

Saw dust collector
works ok with large hose but small hose supplied every combination of adapter tried and unable to fit it

macic tool
What a brilliant tool, set up a Multie system so all the wood working machines have a connection tied in to this item and every one works great. Only one minor thing , its noisy when in use .But well worth it , Really removes the sawdust, shavings with no problems at all.Reccommend it for any small personnel workshop or shed.
