Boots No7 Age Defence Cleansing Balm

This cleansing balm works really well to remove the day and leave your skin feeling soft. The trick is, since it's a balm and somewhat greasy, to use a very warm washcloth to rinse the face. Putting the balm on dry skin, rub it all over, and then take a warm washcloth to actually get the makeup off the skin. The Boots cleansing balm will leave your skin feeling nice and soft. It has fruit acids in it which really help exfoliate and brighten. I think it's a great deal for around ten dollars.

Has anyone tried No7 Beautiful Skin Age Defence Cleanser, if so how do you use it with or without water. There is very little information on the use of this product

I have never used such a greasy "cleanser"! This was just like putting baby oil on my skin. I used this very sparingly and it took, what seemed like, forever to get it rinsed off!! A "balm" is supposed to be aromatic and refreshing but not this stuff and is supposed to rinse off clean...no way!! This stuff was so greasy I had to use very very warm to hot wash cloths to get it off...you are not supposed to use, "hot" anything on the face or skin any way...that dries out the skin, and all the "natural oils" that protect the skin! This was just way to difficult to get off...it did not remove "any" make up at all, what so ever...I went through all of this rinsing and rinsing only to have to wash my face all over again because it removed none of my makeup what so ever!I have tried 4 of these Boots no. 7 "lifting and firming" products, since I have heard so many great things about them, but never ever was I so disappointed in so many products all at one time! This stuff, in my personal opinion, is just not good and I was truly hoping I would love these products...just to save some money! I was completely disappointed in all of the products I tried and wont use any of them again and I will go back to the more expensive brands that I have tried...they are lest showed some results and were never as greasy!!

I read an article about the boots products and decided to give them a try. Some are fine, some great, some not so much. As I finished off my old cleanser I figured I'd add to my boots collection and try out the new age defense. I washed that night and my skin felt like it had a residue on it and not clean at all. Ok, I thought...it has moisturizers and this is how it is going to feel. Hmmm, maybe I can get used to it but couldn't wait to grab the toner and get that feeling off my face. Ugh, my toner pad was covered in make-up. My whole face was not clean after all. Not only not clean but now with the residue on top of not clean.Ok, so I'm thinking, I was tired and maybe didn't wash well. The next day I grab the bottle, hop in the shower and really give it a go. Toner again and there was just grime on the toner pad. My normal cleanser didn't do that and surely my face does not get that dirty in my sleep.I'm done with the stuff at this point. No third chance. While it was only 10 bucks, I hope Target takes this stuff back.Do NOT recommend

I really love this product it makes my face feel so clean and smoothI would recommend it to anyone over 50.

Although they have other great products, this is awful. It did not even remove my mascara and looked and felt like I had washed my face in baby oil. At least baby oil removes mascara.
