Shed fan
Installed in my shed. Built custom surround so i could mount from inside over existing vents. Works well

Works...
Unless you have it in a full sun space, it doesnt work. When its not in full sun the fans dont turn, instead they emit a high pitch noise. In full sun they work well.

Perfect
Great product. No complaints. Was kicked off vine unfairly so excuse the short reviews. Won't be putting in effort where it isn't appreciated.

A solid 4.5 stars or a solid 3 stars, depending on what you need
First and foremost, the fan assembly works. And it works well (see below). The solar panel appears to be high quality and sturdy. The connectors for the wiring are good too. The fan panel is okay and had good tolerances, but know this; think of them like computer type fans. Smaller, light, limited air movement. These will not wind up like real exhaust fan, and if the sun is not hitting the panel full on, you will have some or significant speed drop.If your need is a small shed, doghouse, that kind of thing, and you can mount the solar panel somewhere that gets lots of sun when you need it to run, great! Five Stars! If you need to do some serious heat venting in a larger shed or small building, these will ASSIST, but for that type of use these are "3 stars". Additionally, the fan motors make a slight "humming" type noise that may be fine, or may indicate that they won't last long. Time will tell. That said, be prepared to spend some time mounting the solar panel if you have any type of unique situation. It comes with 4 flimsy clips that will no doubt hold it well and without issue, but only to a flat surface. If you want to aim the panel a certain direction, or at a certain angle, get ready to do some thinking and work.I needed to cool a shed when it heats up in the latter part of the day, between about 2-6pm. That's when the sun really comes through the windows and turns in into a greenhouse. Hot. Because of that I need to ALSO have the panel working it's best during those times and therefore need it angled for the afternoon light. Just attaching it to the wall or roof was not working. On my second try, I bent a piece of pipe, mounted it to the eave, then mounted the panel to a board that I then mounted to the pipe.I made sure I left enough wire hanging down to have a "Drip Loop" so that any rain running down the wires drips off before going into the fans. All in all a decent little unit, but know it's limitations!

Quiet running with good airflow
We have this installed in the roof of a shed, it doesn't move a ton of air since it has to pull it from a small vent on the opposite side of the shed. But during sunny hours it runs continuously so it moves enough air throughout the course of a day to help moderate the temperature and keep the moisture down. Definitely not enough to keep the shed cool, but plenty to keep things from melting.Been running well for many months now, good solid setup.

High pitched squeal, low power
Product is mediocre at best. Install is easy except the “clips/brackets” provided are flimsy and you can’t mount at an angle to optimize sunlight exposure. I can live with that, but the high pitched squeaking from both fans from the moment they were installed is annoying. Day 3 and they are getting worse and louder. Also, if you turn both fans on at the same time, power drops across both fans so it’s exhaust output isn’t what you would expect with a two fan setup.

Good-sized vent fans with no electrical power required!
The solar panel included with unit is nice and compact, providing a rated 12V at 1.2A (15W max). This is hard-wired to a cable that splits into a Y and provides power to two standard 5.5x2.1 power outlets. These are then connected to standard 5.5x2.1 jacks via a weatherproofed connector which seals shut against dirt and the weather, which then passes through a push-to-click on/off switch when is then hard-wired to the fans. Each fan is a "good quality" fan accepting 9V at 0.5A, so even in partly-cloudy weather, they will provide some ventilation. Additional hardware for mounting the panel and even zip-ties to secure the wires is also included.I plugged this in & took it outside and had no problems spinning up the fans to what seemed like full speed. Even through a separate layer of low-e glass or a screen, I still got decent power output from the panel and airflow from the fans. My original plan was to split the fans up, placing one on either wall, and having one acting as an inflow fan and the other for outflow. While the very-short Y adapter makes this impossible, the fact that the unit uses standard 12V power connectors means that I can build my own cable (or simply pick up a pre-built extension from anyone selling LED strips).
