Comfortable, adjustable, good remote control, cord is in pluggable sections for convenience
I bought this product to comply with a doctor's order to wear a "warm compress" on my upper face (eye area & lower forehead) twice a day for 10-15 minutes each. But I wanted to avoid having to soak a hand towel in hot water, fold it into a pad, place it on my face, and sit there while it drips and quickly loses its warmth. I thought Walgreens or CVS would have some microwavable pad for this purpose, but their employees said they stopped carrying such products targeted for use on the face for 'reasons'. So, I tried looking online and there are a ton of electrical ones, seemingly all sourced from Chinese makers without endorsements from medical authorities, etc; this is my description of one such product, specifically the "Sticro Heated Eye Mask with Extra Large Size for Dry Eyes and Sinus Pressure Relief".First off, I have a big head. I can't find off-the-shelf hats that fit me. But this product is generously sized, and the 'face mask' part should be big enough for any non-elephant-man or Andre-the-giant sized human, and in the other extreme probably even small enough for medium sized kids. It has long and wide straps that go back around your the wearer's head, and overlap with large Velcro pads, so holding the mask to the face is done better than just using elastic or something like that. From my measurements, this mask should be useable on people whose head diameter just above the bridge of the nose falls into the 20-24" diameter range (getting much outside this range means that possibly too little Velcro overlap will happen, resulting in the mask coming loose and not staying on during use.The mask outer material is a soft, plush feeling fabric. It does not seem that the mask is designed to allow removing the outer fabric for cleaning. There are cautions in the user's manual (a single sheet of paper, but pretty well composed, and useful) about NOT trying to wash or dry clean the mask, rather to just lightly wipe it with a moist cloth or towel.Note that some products of this kind claim to be USB powered, and I steered clear of those; I wanted something with a dedicated power pack. This product comes with a universal AC power pack ("wall wart"), rated for AC voltages between 100 and 240VAC, and between 50 and 60Hz. It outputs 12VDC, so there should be no problems if the cord going to the mask gets crushed, torn, cut, bitten, etc; certainly no risk of electrocution (as electric blankets can present). The cord from the wall wart power supply is about 5' long, ending with a barrel connector. Then comes the "hand control" with its own cord, which is about 4.5' long with the hand control positioned somewhere near the middle of that length; it has barrel connectors at each end, and plugs into the end of the wall wart's cable, making an overall cable length of 9.5'.The mask has a short cable of a few inches length, ending with a barrel connector which plugs into the end of the hand control's cord. So, the mask can be just short of 10' from where the wall wart is plugged into a AC power socket. Note that the user's manual stresses that the mask NOT be left plugged in while not in use; myself, I leave the wall wart plugged into its AC power socket, and simply unplug the barrel connectors between the wall wart's cord and the hand control's cord. The hand control is really just the one-and-only-control, as there are no controls on the mask itself. With everything plugged together, the remote control is placed in a good position to be reachable by the person wearing the mask. It is a small palm-sized unit (an adult person can hide it inside their closed fist) of black plastic. It has a display that lights up with white symbols and numbers when in use, and there are also four good-sized buttons. One button turns the mask on and off, repeatedly pressing another button cycles through the handful of timer-off settings (15, 30, 45, 60, 90 minutes, defaulting to 15 minutes each time power is turned on). The other two buttons allow selecting the temperature up and down through three options (Low, Medium, High, defaulting to Medium). There seem to be no specifications on what those three temperatures are. Note that the mask WILL automatically power down once the selected timer-off value has elapsed, or the user can turn it off sooner by pressing the On/Off button.I found this mask to be comfortable to wear, and so far I have used only the default Medium temperature and 15 minute timer-off setting, and that has worked well for me.There are some important cautions: do not use the mask while sleeping, do no use on infants (or animals), do not use on invalids, sleeping or unconscious persons. Burns can occur regardless of the settings, which is why the person using this must self-monitor and discontinue use if they feel discomfort. Do not use pins or any metallic device to fasten the mask in place. When used on children, an adult should supervise. Do not leave unattended while plugged in. Do not fold the mask in places other than the built-in fold points on each side of the mask area, do not wad it up or roll into a different shape.

Best Chelazion/Style Head Pad Option Around
This is much more consistent and easy to use compared to the microwaveable eye patches. I sleep in mine every night on medium for 90 min & after a month I can already tell it is helping clear my chelazion!

Love it, but see my "issues" section...
If you have an active stye or chalazion, this mask is great. I only use it on the high heat setting and I do like the temperature. It seems warmer or as warm as other masks I've tried. The obvious perk is how it only covers one eye. I love that I can do work or watch TV while getting a warm treatment session in. No more trying to angle a two-eyed mask to only cover one eye.The issues I have are as follows:- I would prefer for the velcro to be stronger- Sometimes I will hear a "click" or "pop" and the heat stops working. So far, I can fix this by turning the mask off and then back on. I do worry it may get worse down the road though. It doesn't do it at a set time or anything, I've noticed it at 4 min, 20 min , just random times. It's a great concept and has been very helpful in treating my current stye, even with the issues mentioned. The remote is very easy to use. Clear screen that's a good size.

Best Stye relief product ever
I work long hours in front of a screen. Eyes get tired, sometimes I might rub them, dust gets in etc and I occasionally get a stye. I used to use traditional methods like microwave hot packs or boiling gel eye packs. This gadget heats up to a good temperature and stays hot. No more reheating packs! Also you can use it much longer then a regular heat pack. This along with good hygiene and care gets rid of your stye in a few days. Highly recommended!
