LorusGirls Analogue Quartz Watch with PU Strap R2305GX9

First ordered from WatchMad seller (fulfilled by Amazon) and the watch was dead on arrival. The adjustment dial was pushed in so presumably the battery was flat. Reordered from Amazon and the second watch is working but also arrived with the dial pushed in so wasting the battery during storage. The watch from Amazon came in a card presentation box whereas the one from WatchMad came in an unnecessary plastic case. I have had Lorus watches before which came in these same plastic cases so I assume this is older stock.

Watch lies flat on wrist and is waterproof. This is my third one. Only downside is that they arrive working so some of the battery life is lost. Hence my purchasing several over the years. Can have new battery fitted but to maintain waterproof is almost as expensive as new watch.

large face so easy to read and see but not excessiveit is now 22/4/2021 so just over 3 months and it is now letting in water despite the fact that is is suppose to have Water Resistancy: 100 metres!! i wear it in the shower and washing up so would have expected it to be fine for such activities

Nice watch my 9 yr old lovedTHre watch did not last long went faulty, had to have a refund via amazon. I did buy it again as my daughter really liked it, went faulty within 3 months. Thre watch superstore would not help, gave me number for Lorus who said Watch SS are not an authorised dealer. They also said the misting up that happened only happens if the back has been taken off (we haven't) so have to assume The Watch Superstore did but they say they are new not refurbished etc.. so don't know. ALl i do know is Watch suprerstore will not help, amazon are now intervening.

We bought this for our six-year-old grand-daughter just starting to tell the time, so we wanted a simple, clear watch face and a no-nonsense strap. This one fitted the bill perfectly, with added confidence from the Lorus (Seiko) brand name. According to Mum: "She loves it. Fits her well on tightest setting and is comfy to wear. Has survived accidental bath-time." She wears it to school on non-PE days and feels very grown-up. We're very happy with this purchase.

It is purple. My daughter will only wear purple. It made her happy. It tells the time mostly. She doesn’t care if it is the right time or not (which quite often it doesn’t seem to be) because it is purple. If she really wants to know the time she asks me. And shows me her purple watch.

PIECE OF CRAP!!!This watch is not fit for purpose.It has not kept good time - losing 2-3 mins a week.I have swum in it 3 times - no diving - strictly at surface level for approx 40 mins each time and the third time the face was filled with water half way up. This took a couple of days to drain and a further 3 weeks to stop condensing when worn. THEN IT STOPPED WORKING COMPLETELY.Save your money and but another brand!!!

Good watch but it came with a worn battery that only lasted one month. I had to pay over £10 for a battery at debbenhams where they sell lorus watches with a guarantee and battery replacement if it doesn't last two years, though it's more expensive (£20)
