Best truck satnav ever!!It's expensive but worth every single penny you pay.It allows you to put in the dimensions of your truck and will find the best routes for you.You can forget about paying for updates,on maps,Live traffic updates,Camera updates.The MOST important feature of this satnav is that it has a built in sim,which means Tomtom take care of everything!! Including the data for the Live traffic updates every 2 mins.You do not have to rely on your phone anymore or worry about your data.Tomtom will support it for the lifetime of the product.You still can connect your phone to it via Bluetooth and it's fully compatible with Siri on the iPhone and the equivalent on android phone.Once connected you can ring and receive calls hands free!You can also ask it to read out your txt messages.The voice is well loud on the satnav so you do not have to worry.The satnav itself has voice recognition so you can say "Hello tomtom" then ask it to adjust volumes or other things.If you do connect your phone you will have to turn the volume up on the phone to get the benefit of loud voice through the speakers of the satnav otherwise it will be low.The fact that you do not even need a PC to set it up or update is a plus.It does all that via wifi.So you have to turn it on occasionally when you are at home connected to the wifi and it automatically brings up updates and all you have to do is click update.If updates are small you can get away with just using the charge on it.If not you have to plug it to a power source any pc USB.I cannot fault it after using it for a whole month.oh and you can use it in car mode as well.Also this satnav rotates so quickly on roundabouts that you know exactly which exit to take.So there you have it.Go get yourself one.

Used a Snooper S7000 for 8 years, never really happy with the 'live' TMC. It's screen failed when I went to change the brightness, Snooper wanted £30 up front to inspect and another £30 + parts and labour to repair if it could. They also suggested that it was at the end of it's life and perhaps buying a S6900 would be better. For a couple of weeks I used the inbuilt DAF satnav, which I rapidly discovered was a danger to my licence - roads unsuitable for hgv were regularly recommended. During this time Snooper stopped promoting the S6900!! So why try to sell me one. So after being cheated out of the life time map updates and continually paying monies for traffic camera updates, being left aghast that the major roadworks on the A15 at Lincoln, where not being advised, left me with the impression that Snooper had a culture of ripping off anyone and everyone. Never again. Hmmm why did Lymm stop supporting them.So I had used a TomTom 6200, supplied by the company I work for, for approx. 6 months over a year ago. The live update was actually live. The operating system took a while to get used to but it was a good experience.Updating to the 6250 was a no brainer. Really. 8 years too late.Still early days, but one gripe. Only one profile. If you change trailer size, you have to amend the one and only one profile size(s), dimensions, and not just swap to another profile. But on the other hand it makes you check and add the correct dims. Other than that all good and a very happy trucker.

Straight out of the box, I went to update the maps and connected the internet and off it went. A while later all updated. Put in all my destinations, that was easy. Out on the road it’s great, it picked up lots of traffic all the speed cameras and told me how fast I was going. If I went over the speed limit the speed section went amber ( a bell would be nice) if I went over the limit a bit more it went red with a bell ( I think the bell should keep ringing). The only thing I did find was some of the speed limits were wrong and I don’t know how to correct them. There is a touch button in the menu for speed cameras. I found the voice control a bit hit and miss. Rerouting was very quick. I had my 9 year old tomtom sat nav on the windscreen as well and the 6250 was miles quicker. Over all very impressed. I did buy a Garmin 780 lmt last week, it would not update and it was very clunky compared to the Tomtom, it went back.

As expected top quality product from TomTom.. Finish and parts are of excellent quality.Screen mount, really sticks to truck screen and is easily adjusted to suit screen angle. Magnet holdsSatNav strongly onto mount and makes it very easy to take off and put away.My Likes:1). Very sturdy construction and top materials used.2). Quick and accurate route planning taking into account truck dimensions3). TomTom traffic warnings are almost instantaneous and offer quick routes around traffic jams4). WIFI on the 6200 makes for quick updates and no need for computer (can be done at WIFI hotspots)5). Relative fast processor, advantageous when you take a wrong turn.6). Searches can be done online (similar to google search).My dislikes:1). it should have had a bag to store it away included at this price.2). Reaction to screen touches slow; few times i thought I had not pressed hard enough3). Truck/Bus dimensions are only allowed in m/cm/mm not feet and inches (not ideal for the UK)4). Own/3rd party POIs can be installed but not their symbols; only the very basic symbols from system allowed.5). Menus can be confusing until accustomed to.

Impresionante.Yo creo que para profesionales es el navegador mas avanzado del momento.Los gráficos TomTom para mi son los mejores indica muy bien las salidas de las plazas (el iGOPrimo no)Con la app Mydrive para movil puedes enviar la dirección encontrada al navegador via bluetooth al momento o desde el PC.Se actualiza por wifi rápido y solo pulsando "actualizar".El soporte con iman es super-práctico.Ademas te da la tranquilidad de la calidad TomTom que se nota en todos los aspectos.Lo recomiendo 100°/• para trabajar.Mejor pagar algo mas que no comprarte uno de esos gps baratos de malisima calidad que solo dan problemas y tienes que estar cada 2 x 3 reseteando para que funcionen e ir intranquilo porque se te puede apagar en cualquier momento (como me paso a mi muchas veces mientras conducía) y que solo duran unos 6 meses, como en mi caso, y es tirar el dinero.Invierte en calidad y si puedes compratelo.
