YoYoFactory Mighty Flea Yo-Yo

The YoYoFactory Mighty Flea is quite the interesting yoyo. My first impression was that it was quite heavy for its size, but that's a good thing.This is an unresponsive yoyo. I see too many reviews of people being disappointed about buying a yoyo and saying "It's broken, it won't come back up". But what is truly broken is their research on a product before buying it.A lot of people but normal yoyo string for this yoyo, and complain about this as well. This yoyo has a thinner and shorter string than normal yoyos. You can search for "Mighty Flea String" and find them, but if you're like me and make your own string, just use about half the amount of thread you normally use.This is definitely more of a novelty/collectible than anything, because it is very difficult to do tricks with it, as opposed to a full-sized yoyo, but that's what makes it so cool. Tricks are much harder because of the size, and it is easy to make it go off axis or lose control, so you are constantly conscious of string alignment and hand positions, and it requires much more accuracy, which in turn, develops good habits, and makes playing with a normal sized yoyo much easier and more natural feeling. Try doing Eli Hops with this thing, then go back to a normal yoyo and try it, you'll see what I mean.The machining is fantastic. Absolutely gorgeous craftsmanship, as expected from YoYoFactory. The tiny bearing that comes in it is also quite impressive. The response system is pretty nice, it does what it should.The only cons are things that should be expected, and aren't really cons at all. It is a small yoyo with a short, thin string, so the spin time isn't as good as a normal sized yoyo (Granted, the comparison is to an unresponsive yoyo, like the Shutter, this thing will outspin several looping and cheap yoyos, considering they aren't necessarily built to do that.) It's still good enough for me to do most of the tricks and combos I know, so that's good enough for me.I guess that's really it. Nice product from a good company.

Very small but that's what makes it so cool.... However it is very hard to use .... maybe its the string we are using... we have tried many strings no luck

If you purchase this yoyo make sure you also purchase extra string. As the yoyo keeps coming apart during a throw and it cuts the string. A little disappointing.
