Panasonic SC-ALL05EB-K Powerful Multi Room Portable and Waterproof Speaker

Stumbled across a seller advertising a brand-new Panasonic SC- ALL05 speaker at a very attractive price and jumped at the chance to purchase. I already had a Panasonic Wireless Speaker System setup within my home, but always wanted the facility of operating a Wireless speaker away from a power source. The Panasonic SC- ALL 05 does just that. Panasonic stopped production of the ALL system some years ago which in my view was a mistake. The build quality, sound quality and network connectivity were as good as what was being offered by the other main competitors at the time the range was introduced. Even though it is some 6 years since the Panasonic ALL range was first introduced, I find that it still provides seamless music and speech through the home. The SA-ALL05 is no exception. It is a very attractive unit in white. Small enough to be placed on a bed side table or an outside table while sitting in the garden. The Sound it produces is more than adequate and surpasses that you will ever get from a tablet, phone or small portable radio. It is ideal for listening to Podcasts such as BBC Sounds and background music streaming for the home NAS, Streaming services and network radio stations plus you can always Bluetooth phones or tables to the unit as well. As with all the other Panasonic ALL speakers, the SC- ALL 05 was identified by the Panasonic Music Stream App without problems and was able to connect to the full range of sources available via the Panasonic Music Stream App. All in all, an excellent addition to my Panasonic ALL system. Just a shame that Panasonic decided to abandon the production and future support for what was an excellent product

Really pleased with this speaker, sounds great and the wireless option is very convenient. Also if you have other compatible Panasonic speakers the link up is really good.Instructions for setting up could be clearer for those of us who aren't very 'techie' but the Panasonic Customer Services were very helpful.One thing to be aware of is that whether switched on or off the battery is in use as it's connected to the network (apparently), so you must keep it on charge when not using the battery as it will be drained when you come to use it as I found out the hard way!

Had a nightmare with many failed Panasonic SC-ALLx units, decided that even through Panasonic pretend there was no issue, there was an issue (5 replacements all failed in similar ways). My 2 gen units are all fine, so expanded my multi room with this. I'm very impressed, its got a great sound and for the size packs a decent punch.So why only the 2 stars. I can't recommend Panasonic brand whist they continue to bury quality problems by putting their head on the sand. Shop elsewhere, with a company that looks after it's customers, like sonos, I sadly had no choice, I already have a network of Allplay devices.

Well built & they sound great.The battery life however is woeful. They discharge on standby within 8 hours.As for playtime you will be lucky to get 4 hours of musc.There are better value units out there.If you want portability then look else where.

Terrible connectivity

I already have this speaker in black purchased this white one for bathroom to complete multi room set up.These speakers are great if you have the Panasonic all system, I daresay that there are better performing speakers if you want to lump out great sums of money, but these sound and work seamlessly together, being able to change them to left and right channel stereo channels is easy via Panasonic app.When used in the same room as Panasonic SC-HC1020 the room filling crystal clear sound is amazing.When used as a stand alone speaker it is very capable of filling room with rich sound.My only negative comment about the ALL05 speaker would be that when you use this speaker as portable on battery power alone you will lose power output From 20 watts (10 per channel) down to 8 watts (4 per channel)Overall would recommend this product due to its versatility.

Thought this might work with my sc all 7cd.unfortunatly not. However it's bluetooth function works well from my music app.

Love this item. It's the second one I've bought. Very easy to use. Great sound for a little speaker. Can feel bit expensive but they really do sound great. I guess it depends if you want great sound or cheap sound. You can use Spotify Deezer or because of the Bluetooth feature if you are an Amazon prime customer you can stream from Amazon music also. Would recommend great value.
