This mook jong is heavier and steadier than you might think. I looked around for quite a while before purchasing, and I don't think you'll find a better buy for the price. It comes with assembly instructions, but you won't need them: the design is intuitive and easy. One problem: the leg attachment didn't fit through the hole. After about half an hour of careful filing and sawing (trying not to take out too much), we slipped the leg through. The striking pads are thin, but they help a lot anyway. I set the device in a corner of my home gym and placed two 35-pound dumbbells on the back of base to help stabilize it, and that has worked pretty well, and the dumbbells are right there when I need them. The mj may shift position slightly when you strike it, but as long as you don't really pound it, it should work well--I use it nearly every day. Recommended.

The dummy arrived missing the large metal base plate. I contacted the seller, and they responded within an hour. They very politely apologized for the inconvenience and initiated actions to ship me the missing base plate immediately. Great customer service!The wooden dummy seems to be really good quality. It’s good quality solid wood - very heavy. It actually stands 65” tall, which is perfect for me. The stain is good quality and evenly spread. No stain blotches. A few minor nicks in the stain on the arm tips from shipping I think, but nothing major at all … especially since the arms will be getting slapped a lot during training. Overall, seems to be excellent quality. I’ll update as necessary after I receive the base and actually put it to the test.

Perfect for trainIng at home. I knew it would need a little upkeep due to the type of wood it is. I filled the gaps with wood putty and wood glue. For the price it’s fantastic. I’d buy again or recommend. It’s definitely a plus for my training and the price made it the best choice.

Assembly was easy and intuitive. Only one screw hole didn't line up, but it could be dealt with easily enough. Came with some minor superficial damage to most parts. Just some scratches and dents that were more visible because of the cheap wood stain/paint. Only real complaint is that there are 2 large cracks running through the trunk. Considering how cheap this was I kind of expected something like that though. Also, It's either hollow or not hardwood. This is a cheap replica to tide you over until you can get a good one at a later date. Just remember, you get what you pay for.

I have two of these.Best wooden dummy for the price out there.It goes together easy, height sets easy.Correct configurations. DurableIt's HEAVY.My second one had a crack in the base when it arrived. Probably cracked in shipping as this thing is HEAVY. It did not effect useage, but they should package it a different way.
