It looks as good as a bin can, it is beautifully finished, the silent, cushioned mechanism wows every time I press the pedal... no hideous metallic clang! Its useful deep but narrow shape perfectly fits the space I have in the kitchen and provides loads of rooms for days of kitchen rubbish (as well as anything else anyone wants to jetisson when passing—kitchen bins can fill fast!). It is also very convenient to empty—especially if you use the Simplehuman bags). This is actually the second of these we have owned. Its near-identical predecessor did a fantastic job for 20 years but, being the painted version, eventually became a little too scratched by the children and the hinge finally dislocated—after about 70,000 pedal presses! There is no cooler bin to have. It may be a little pricey but it's worth every penny.

So easy to use, doesn’t slip on the floor. Easy bag change. But you do need to use the specific bag they recommend. Fits into a small gap behind my door perfectly.

Easy access when hands are full with the foot pedal. The outside is smudge free so when my cat jumps on to it just wipes clean and looks like new.

I am very pleased with this bin, I've always had a single compartment bin before and worried the narrow side would be too small on this but it isn't. It's fits the General rubbish very well and I find I'm recycling more now too as before I must have been avoiding certain items. The pedal function works great and you can slide a clip to keep the lid open if needed. I also think the design on the inner bin tubs are great. They have air vents so your bags cannot get stuck by vacuum forces so removing full bags is now very easy. The recycling side you can just lift out and take to the outside bin and reuse the liners multiple times! Great buy. With the money.

Works well but even the correct bags show when the bin lids closed.

No Shadow of a doubt this bin is top notch soft close with a Paddlefoot mechanism that will last me years to come well worth the money indeed but I have a problem with the way in which Amazon items are delivered now this bin came with a big dent in the side I don’t know if it was caused by the Company because it was in a box or if it was done by delivery handlers this is a big problem when Purchasing any big household appliances I find with amazon please put Fragile on packages and handle with some sort of care because it is truly disheartening when things come to you dented and broken if Amazon or the company can’t insure this then stop selling these big type of item eg sinks, steel bins, glasshobs, Plywood worktops etc you see where I’m going with this check item before it sent out please

Simple human bins are extremely well made and fit in well with a high spec kitchen. The pedal is fantastic for hands-free operation and the butterfly opening late means a reduced height whilst retaining a wide aperture to access the bins inside. With two separate bin compartment inside these could be used for recycling, but in a large family we find it helpful to be able to empty one side at a time, making rubbish disposal that much easier. Use the simple human custom bin liners for a perfect fit.
