Psorent Psoriasis Topical Solution, Over the Counter Psoriasis Treatment, 3.2 fl. oz

I’m writing this review for my husband who has psoriasis, and has had it for over 20 years now. He would never write this as he is very shy about his condition. He has never been one to go and get medication from the doctor, as the side affects of some medications scare him. I mean, these shots say you can clear up your psoriasis, but potentially have a dozen horrible side affects?!? We have tried everything over the counter and NOTHING has helped his SEVERE plaque psoriasis. So, needless to say, he has missed out on countless family swimming/beach days. I know he is so embarrassed... he won’t show an inch of skin that’s affected as OTHERS can be judgmental and assume it’s a catchable condition. We got this product thinking it would be another false promise....BUT he is now on his SECOND BOTTLE and I swear his plaque has almost disappeared completely! Only spots (think dark stain spots) remain from his itching over the years.THIS SUMMER WE SWIM AGAIN! If YOU or someone you LOVE is suffering from psoriasis, get this. Try it!!!!!My husband can smile now when he sees it disappearing before his eyes....and THAT folks, is priceless to me as his wife.

LOVE IT!!!! I have moderate to severe scalp psoriasis and this stuff has been a life saver. The constant itching of scalp psoriasis is maddening as all sufferers can attest. It can truly effect your quality of life. Psorent has enabled me to get my scalp psoriasis under control. It's not a cure, because there is no cure for psoriasis, but this product has helped me tremendously. I use it twice a day -- after my morning shower and before bed. One thing that is important to me is that it is a liquid. I have moderately long hair and I can use this product in the morning and go about my day. Creams and oils are a mess if you have long hair and can only be used when not venturing into public. But Psorent is a liquid with a sponge applicator bottle so it easily gets down to the scalp and doesn't make your hair greasy or oily. Now, it is made from coal tar so it does have a kinda yucky smell, but by the time I get myself gussied up and depart for my day the smell has dissipated. A spritz of perfume and I'm good to go. I have tried many prescription psoriasis products and OTC coal tar is the only thing that has worked for me. Psorent is 2% coal tar. I also use a 5% coal tar product purchased on Amazon. You may want to start with the 2% Psorent and then try the 5% brand if necessary.

I took 2 bottles from my dermatologist office one day. tried it, and I was shocked to see how fast and effective this solution is. I have Psoriasis since age 8, I am 45 now and I refuse to inject "biologics" since the side effects are HORRIBLE. This solution works, but I take breaks in between, applied lotion after I shower everyday and "practice meditation" in the form of "deep breathing". These 3 things, (combined with sun-bathing) are keeping my Psoriasis away from now. You should really practice deep breathing meditation, it enhances recovery. I took one star, because if you use this solution "everyday" you will get Acne, if you stop, Acne goes away. Good stuff, I hope they make it forever.

I've always been frustrated with otc (over the counter) remedies for psoriasis because they only alleviated the symptoms but not actually clear your skin. Finally an otc that does that! The results shown on this product are true. I have been using topical steroids and creams for years. When I had great health insurance those medicines weren't a big deal to get but now have gotten prohibitively expensive. This product actually clears your skin like those prescription grade topicals. I really like the ease of application and that it's not as messy to apply. You can apply it easily to your scalp or body. I highly recommend this product if you have psoriasis on majority of your body (>80%). It worked for me and actually cleared. Not just soften and sooth like other products.

This stuff works amazingly well! Just dab it on the spots where you’re having a flareup and it dries and absorbs quickly giving immediate relief. It’s not sticky or goopy and you can style your hair as normal. Just FYI, if you put it on raw spots were you’ve been scratching it will burn intensely for a moment but it doesn’t last long and the relief is worth it. I’ve been using this almost a week and noticed a considerable improvement in the scaling flaking and itching. I would highly recommend this product.

This stuff is RIDICULOUS amazing. I was hoping for decent results and was absolutely blown away by how quickly and how powerfully this stuff cleared my psoriasis patches. I suddenly developed psoriasis out of nowhere a couple months ago. My insurance doesn’t cover dermatology services and they wanted an outrageous copay just to see me. So I researched on my own and figured out what it was and how to treat it at home. The most recommended topical across the board is coal tar, so I came to Amazon and found this. I’m so happy I could cry. It was EVERYWHERE, and was starting to spring up on my face. I was absolutely devastated. This has been a lifesaver for me! I apply it twice a day and that’s it! It does smell a little weird, but I kinda like the earthy smell. The scent fades quickly tho, and even if it didn’t - who cares, when it works this well??

I have relatively mild for a long time. A number of products, most recently MG217 have been effective at keeping it minimal, I'm still looking for something that will take it down a bit further. That's why I tried Psorent. I don't know if it will work for others or not, but it did not work for me at all. After using it for a couple of weeks, the condition was worse than it's been in years. I wanted to try for a month before passing judgment, but when I woke up last night scratching my arm, I gave up.
