Quiet, easy-to-use and high quality
I bought this as I had upgraded everything else in my PC except my PSU which was a 6 year old Corsair CX600. Everything else was incredibly quiet except the old Corsair PSU and it was incredibly annoying. It was fine until I started a game at which point the PSU would heat up and the fan would spin incredibly loud. I had previously cleaned the PSU of dust and lubed the fan which helped for a short while but made no difference. I bought this PSU to replace it and I could not be happier. The fan is not audible compared to my old PSU and it was much easier to cable manage with than my previous non-modular PSU. It came with 2 dust bags for storing any spare cables and some standard AND Velcro cable ties.Overall I am very happy with my purchase and could not recommend this PSU enough given the reasonable price.

Perfect for a great majority of PC users.
This is everything you need as long as you do not belong to the 1% of PC user community, who run multiple high powered GPUs and latest and greatest processors overclocked to their limits. The power supply works very cool and quiet. Most of the times, when idling or browsing the web it won't even turn on it's fan, because it doesn't need cooling. It is modular, which allows you to save some space in your PC case, as it won't be cluttered with unused cables and is relatively small in size, so you won't have problems with fitting it to smaller cases. Overall, a fantastic product for a good price.

A great quality PSU for a fair price
Building a new Ryzen 7 gaming PC, I wanted to make sure I had a good, reliable PSU from a decent manufacturer and the Seasonic Focus Plus was just that.Quality is good, the cables could perhaps feel a be more premium but this isn't a top line unit so those concessions are fair enough. Been running this for nearly two months without issue, it's nice and quiet and hasn't given me any concern. Easy to install and being a modular PSU, it really helps the cable management using only the cables you need.

Quiet, modular and powerful
Needed a better power supply to drive a video card, looking to buy a 650w but the 750w was exactly the same price, so why not? Only had it connected to the system for a couple of days but very impressed so far. Easy to install, modular so you only use what you need and plenty of cables for future expansion. Very quiet in operation. Really pleased with this so far.

Perfect
This is paired with a Radion VII, Ryzen 1700 and lots of storage etc. Everything is overclocked. This runs it all with ease. The Seasonic doesn’t get hot, doesn’t whine and doesn’t struggle do deliver power. I’m sure it’s efficient but I have no way to check.I returned my Corsair 750CX to Amazon and got this instead. Much less noise coming from my machine now. It costs a little more but it’s worth the extra.

Modular efficiency for a modest PC
I recently upgraded my GPU to an RTX 2060 and needed a wattage boost. There are plenty of decent PSU manufacturers these days, but I opted for a Seasonic unit because PSUs are their main business, and their engineers still set the standard for everyone else working in the PSU industry. Seasonic has always been confident in their products, and I'm a fan of the ten-year warranty they offer with this one.The FOCUS Gold is robust, as you'd expect for a unit that costs nearly £80 at the moment. The casing is rock solid, the powder black matte finish is beautiful, and I think it would look good in any case with a dominant black aesthetic, especially if you've got golds and yellows in there as well. The cables are good quality, but are only provided in black. No fancy coloured sheathing is on display here, but the beauty of having a fully modular unit is that you can always change these out later if you want to.The PSU is certainly very quiet and I can't hear it over my case fans, even when nearing maximum load. However, if you want truly silent operation, then opting for a high-wattage unit certified to the 80 Plus Platinum or Titanium standard might be better. The only problem I have with the retail unit is that the 4+4 cable for the CPU is a little too short to be routed behind my motherboard, so I've had to leave it loose in the main cavity without managing it. However, this is in the context of a case (Fractal Design R4) that vents the PSU fan downwards through the bottom of the chassis. If your PSU is top-mounted, or your PSU is bottom-mounted but the fan vents into the case, it'll be fine.If you want a high-quality, efficient, and reasonably affordable PSU for an aesthetically clean mid-range PC build, then I don't think you could do much better than the FOCUS Gold without spending almost double the price!

Reliable
I've had this for 4.5 years now in 2 different PCs. It is quiet and reliable. Have not had any problems.

Dead on arrival
Very disappointed to find after installing all my new pc parts, doing a lot of cable management and trying lots of different tests to find out why my pc would not start, as it could have been many different parts for it to not power on. It could have been the case power button, motherboard connections, cables. After nearly a whole day, found out it was the PSU.When I opened the PSU box I did notice one of the plastic bags was torn but didn't think anything of it. So clearly it wasn't working before and someone had returned it, only for Amazon or the seller to send it out again. The cables were very stiff too when trying to install it.First time buying Seasonic, after a lot of people and websites recommending them. Can't say I was impressed. I went back to Corsair again. My last Corsair PSU has been going for 7+years.
