Q: Does the new replacement bag press down on the switch so the engine will start?

The bag DOES NOT come with the adapter that controls the safety switch. The bag will attach to that piece with a large zip-tie. The plastic handle is separate, so if you need that part, it needs to be ordered separately.

Q: does this come with a discharge cute? if so will it work on a craftsman series 675 yard vac model 247.77013.0?

No. Discharge chute is a separate purchase.

According to the pictue int he manual I just looked up for that model number, Yes it should fit. You will need to keep the piece, that you should have, that has the handle and the tab for the interlock switch, as this is just the cloth back that attaches to that piece with a large zip tie that is provided with the bag.

Q: How does the bag attach to the machine without using the zip tie ?

Plastic end slides onto mower deck . Plastic handel clips over mower Handel .I use a bungee cord clipped to Handel of bag to the mower
