Sealy Select Balance Duvet, 10.5 Tog - Super King

There is no doubt that nothing says a good night's sleep more than the bed on which you are sleeping, except maybe the duvet. Of course, cheaply-built duvets have the tendency to bundle up after a couple of uses – not least itself being unwarming. But excellently-built duvets do not– as you may have guessed– have those issues. Having spent the past two weeks using this product, I can confidently state that this is a duvet that is excellently-built. I must say though, there are also perfect duvets, but those cost a fortune so the average person, this is more than sufficient. But nonetheless, I list my opinions below on the duvet.First, it is lightweight but has the sort of huggy-feel to it when you are under it. So if you are feeling lonely, you won't be feeling it anymore with this duvet is covering you. And since it's lockdown and none of us can meet our friends, if you need a supportive hug while scooping ice cream out of a bucket, well the duvet can be a bona fide replacement. Second, it is WARM so for those cold sleepers, this is a duvet built for you. If you are a hot sleeper– like me– it'll take a while to kick off the duvet.Third, it is durable so for those who toss and turn in their sleep, you will wake up finding none of the fillings had bundled up. Although there is the off-chance that your duvet is now the wrong way round.Fourth, if you are a snuggler, there is plenty of covers to snuggle with. Did I mention the ice cream bit?Fifth, if you sleep with a partner, there is no battle over the duvet. In fact, you could both be on differing edges of the bed and on your side with plenty of covers left (supposing you're in a king-size bed, but if not, why are you looking at a king-size duvet?). So if she/he is ever angry with you before bed, at least she/he can't take the covers away.Sixth, no duvet cover, no problem. This duvet is built to be slept with without any cover if you are so inclined because the outer layer fabric is smooth and comfy. So like how some people like to sleep, the duvet can also be in the nude (just joking). Although I will say though is that if you do plan on putting covers on, I would suggesting putting on your smoothest and most comfortable duvet cover.Well, that's all I can think of while typing this out. Hope that helps, but if it doesn't, too bad? But hey ho, that's my take on the duvet. And if you decide– on the off-chance– to purchase the duvet for whatever reason (like building a fort or using it as a mattress to watch Netflix while lying down on the ground) and end up not liking it, you can always return.

I absolutely love this duvet, it is without doubt the best one I have ever owned.It was surprisingly light when I got it out of it's own storage bag and so I really wasn't convinced it would be able to keep me warm, but I was wrong. It is incredibly snuggly and warm for something so light and bouncy.I do not have central heating in my home, so winter time can be very challenging as the heating system I do have is inefficient and substandard. At night I really need something to keep me warm and this definitely ticks all the boxes.I also loved the piping around the edges of the duvet which makes it feel good quality and strong. The material of the duvet itself is soft and smooth and as it is machine washable (I have not tried this yet) I can imagine it would feel lovely against the skin without a cover on.All in all, a very reasonably priced duvet, fair better than I expected for the money. I will never buy another brand again, as this for me, is perfect.

Best duvet ever! So light yet warm, holds its shape well. Always looks fluffed up. We bought one for our little boy and liked it so much we bought one for our bed too! (Our son finds his 13.5 a bit warm but we haven't had any real cold weather so will purchase him 10.5 and 4.5 too) excellent quality. I haven't washed ours yet as only had for a few weeks and only been on the bed for a week so I can't comment on how well it washes, hopefully it will wash well.

Soft, well made and quiet. Bought to replace a feather / down one that we just couldn't get on with as it rustled every time you moved. Bit heavier in weight, but happy its quiet, also much nicer than the cheap supermarket ones I've had in the past.

This quilt is amazing! It's definitely the best I've ever had and I've had feather quilts in the past. It's so warm and snuggly but without being sweaty and the filling does literally feel like silk. It almost replicates the softness of feathers but without the sharp bits! It seems to fluff up with air, which I really like. Its been on the bed for a few weeks now and hasn't shown any signs of going flat. It's lightweight but has enough weight to feel secure. Perfect for autumn / winter.Only problem is, I seem to have now lost my bed to my cats!

Me and my wife have really gone. Through some duvets over the years from extremely expensive to supermarket cheapies.We decided to give this Sealy one a go as we once had a wonderful mattress of the same brand. It arrived in its own individual storage bag that's reusable and the quality was immediately obvious as the stitching and ribbed edge finish was 1st class.The duvet itself is very puffy and maintains that puff with a quick shake and it doesn't bunch up inside the duvet cover. It's very warm and cosy and both of us love it not always the case when we buy duvets.I can happily recommend buying this duvet

Only had about a week but it is so soft and comfortable but very warm.Edge binding could show through as some have said if you had a light coloured cover but my sealy mattress has a binding the same its like a trade mark in a way.Lovely material so silky and luxurious .I will see if its warm enough in the winter months but at the moment couldn't be more pleased.

After looking at reviews left by purchasers of other duvets complaining of poor quality I eventually settled on this one as I saw it was manufactured by a reputable company (Sealy). I am happy to report that this one ticks all the right boxes. I's not the cheapest but is well made with quality edge stitching and is warm and cosy - what's not to like. Highly recommended
