Excellent. Of course we baby boomer British Invasion fans of the 60s growing up in America, know and love Gerry & the Pacemakers. One of the very best British Invasion bands. Who can ever forget their appearances on Ed Sullivan? As a Brian Epstein group, they too presented themselves in ties and suits. Very clean, very classy.The quality of this disc is excellent. Thanks to EMI for preserving the original tapes. The selection is also very good. Although i can't figure out the song sequence. Girl on a Swing as the 2nd song! Makes no sense. But that is minor.Maybe the only song missing here, to make it pretty much complete, to me, is Hello Little Girl, the Lennon/McCartney (actually, Lennon) song the Beatles did not release - at least at the time.Sound quality is excellent. Some songs are in mono, but very few.This is a tremendous value and definitely worth getting.The accompanying leaflet has some interesting information about the boys and the songs alo.

Very oleased

Being a Liverpool girl born and bred I miss my home city so much that I take every opportunity to listen to Liverpool music. I heard You'll Never Walk Alone track on facebook yesterday and have been looking for a copy of it for my mobile phone ringtone. I listened to the mp3 download on here and it was brilliant, I had goosepimples listening to the clarity of Gerry's voice, and I thought, why not buy the cd instead. I've just bought this set based on all the reviews and am really looking forward to receiving it. Thanks for your help.

El pop más nostálgico, consistente y divertido de aquellos años '60 y '70 queda reflejado, muy especialmente, en este plástico de Gerry % The Pacemakers, cuyas canciones son para gozarlas de manera inevitable.

War alles ok.

Un gran bel gruppo che,guidato da Gerry, riesce a realizzare canzoni stupende come 'How Do You Do It?', 'I Like It', 'You'll Never Walk Alone' o anche, per me, 'You're The Reason' e 'Chills', ma in generale tutte queste canzoni sono davvero carine, anche quando cercano di fare cover di cantanti del livello di Chuck Berry (questo si può notare ad esempio con 'Maybellene'). Comunque la cosa che mi ha colpito di più è la grande energia di questa band. CD consigliatissimo. Infine, complimenti ad Amazon per la rapida spedizione!
