My First 1000 Words: With 1000 Colorful Pictures!

Didn't realise capybara and quetzal should be in a child's first 1000 words. I'm sorry but if I had of flicked through the book in a book shop I never would have bought it. Lots more options for first word books.

My grandaughter learnt a lot of words from this book

This book is an American publication so has some American spellings e.g Jewelry, gray bag, colors. Picture for football is American football.

My 18 month olds favourite book! Nice bright clear pictures and thick pages (not quite tear proof but she’s rough with her books!)
