Trangia Kettle

I bought this kettle to use with the Alcohol stove on my Sailing boat. I was using a larger IKEA kettle that would encourage me to boil more water than needed. Spending days at anchor with no access to new fresh water it is important not to waste a drop.This kettle can boil 3 mugs of water making it perfect for the crews morning coffee. It stowes away neatly and looks good.

Trangia kettles do exactly what it says on the tin, they're lightweight and perfectly sized to provide enough hot water for 2-3 drinks. A tad expensive but you get what you pay for and it's a well made bit of kit, so worth it regardless.

What's not to like. Handy size. Enough for two mugs of coffee. Suits me.

Great little kettle that’s lightweight.The only thing is that the plastic on the handle and lid looks easy to melt, so make sure the handle is standing upright when on the boil.I’ve only used it on the Trangia, so I’ve not put it in fires etc. but would be comfortable doing so (but making sure the plastics aren’t going to melt)

Quality bit of kit from Trangier. Ideal size for motorcycle touring. Super lightweight and holds just the right of liquid, usually water' for my large drinking vessel. Don't do what I did and heat the contents with the handle folded down or you may get molten plastic on your hand. Doh!

Excellent bit of kit it's trangia bought the 25 series kettle to complete my 25 I've upgraded from the 27 which is superb the 25 is bigger bought the hard iondised bullet proof.

Tea and coffee on the beach if you buy the tanga stove. Wind actually helps it boil

Absolutely brilliant and fits inside the Trangia 25 series easily! Makes 4 cups of tea/coffee per fill. My partner has the smaller series which is great if it's just two of us, but more recently we have been going with friends so I decided to buy the Trangia 25 series, the non stick set but it didn't come with a kettle so I bought one from Amazon. And happy to say the kit is fantastic. Kettle cleans up easily and the little black trangia bag that has the gas fitting and pot handle also stores away in the kettle nicely when your not using it.
