BWT Vida Water Filter Jug, White, 2.6 Litre

I felt compelled to write this review after reading some of the other bad review. I bought this for the 3 of us in our family. I wanted it to be simple, fit in the fridge door and provide clean good tasting water. This jug accomplishes all. Its sturdy and the water comes out like its supposed to. If you try and fill to fast you may cause an issue but I don't understand why some people do that. The water tastes great! There are no leaks. The display is simple and tells me when to change. Its a little dearer than the supermarket ones but your getting a better filter and jug. The filters are also reasonable in price.Fully recommend. The company also sent / delivered very quickly. All Good.

Love this jug over any other water filter jugs I’ve tried before in the past. Water tastes great with the magnesium BWT cartridges. The little flap where the water comes out gets a bit stuck occasionally preventing water flow momentarily. Generally very easy to use and I prefer using this, than buying endless disposable plastic water bottles. I fill my reusable glass water bottle with this filtered water when I’m out. Tastes better than tap water.

Everything about the jug is lovely, especially the easy opening at the top for the tap. All of it goes into the dishwasher, except for the lid where it has a little device to monitor the amount of times you've refilled the jug. It worked when I first got it, however when I put in a new second cartridge, and it reset it, it stopped not working. So I just replace the filter each month and ignore the indicator, which is a shame!

Recently moved house to an area where the water has a particularly strong taste out the tap. This filter completely fixed that problem. It holds plenty of water for a days consumption, and the water that comes out is very nice. I can't comment on the softness of the water because I didn't buy it with that in mind.I haven't used the electronic thing on the lid that opens the flap if it detects water. It didn't come with a battery, and the lid over the hole bit is weak enough that water naturally pushes it open so not sure what the point in the electrical facility is. Possible I am misunderstanding that though.The above isn't a complaint. It is a great filter jug and I would recommend it.

I used to buy a lot of plastic bottles because I drink a lot of water during the day. My biggest concern was the waste of plastic, even if I do recycle everything I use. I wanted to find a more eco-friendly way to reduce my personal waste impact on the planet. I changed my habits thanks to this jug and I feel better now.The jug is super easy to set up, you just need to follow the instructions provided . Filters usually last 1 month and are easy to replace. It's even cheaper than ordinary plastic bottles!

Have had this some time to use up the filters I bought to use with it. Very bad pourer, bad at filling the flap does not always go down and water spurts everywhere. The light stopped working fairly soon, did not worry too much about that as I can remember when I changed the filter.Have now bought the Dafi plastic water jug with Dafi filters, so much better, water tastes really good and jug perfect, going to throw this one away.

I love the jug, the filter makes the water taste exactly like mineral water.However, the battery in the digital filter gauge stopped working after a month! I'm going to contact Amazon/BWT, but it's annoying to have to do this - I would not expect that to happen in the first place.

I bought it for myself love the colour and was impressed about the longer life filter but however I’m not too impressed with the actual replacement filters I’ve aReady got lime in my kettle in not quite 3 weeks plus I do have a descaler thing in my kettle as well to catch limescale but will wait to see if the next filter is any different but I do still like the Jug it maybe because I live in a limescale area
