Thin and light but durable
I got the cup in sand for plein air watercolor painting. It takes almost no room in my bag and the light neutral sand color makes judging the cleanliness of my rinse water easier than the actual collapsible wash cups from Faber-Castell.If your paint watercolor, this is the one you want.

Doesn't Leave a Rubbery Taste in Foods
I finally gave these a try after my guyout squishy bowls left a horrible rubber taste in every meal. I was afraid these might do the same. However, after rinsing them out and letting them soak in warm water before my first use. I'm happy to say, these left no odd taste in my foods. I've poured boiling water from my backpack stove right into these with whatever meal I was eating (oatmeal, etc). They hold up great. They are pretty thin walled so it doesn't provide much heat insulation, so be careful, they will be hot. However, that thin walled design allows them to be collapsible and light weight. My X-Mug holds 2 cups of water, has graduation marks on the inside in cups, and weighs only 2.7 oz. The very top of the mug has an OD of just under 4.5". This allowed it to nest perfectly in the top pan of my Terra Weekender HE pot set. Which is awesome. I will probably buy the X-Cup to nest in this next

Love it. Easy clean up. Fits in my pot. Durable
I am pretty happy with this item. I could use my GSI pot but the cup is easier to clean as I can turn it inside out and lick it pretty clean.

Lighweight and compact, rated for 180 Celcius, but not well insulated
The mug is holds a large cup of tea or coffee (16oz) and collapses to a small size. At first, I got annoyed that it is rated for only up to 180 degrees, but then I looked closely and realized that this is in Celsius, not Fahrenheit. So pouring boiling water right off the stove should not be an issue. There is no smell. The only small annoyance is that you cannot hold the hot cup with your hands. It is too hot, i.e. there is no insulation. You have to hold the rim. The rim is adequately firm (does not collapse under the weight of the filled cup), so good enough for camp conditions, but I would have loved a slightly thicker band or a sleeve on the cup itself.

Light weight and convenient
Light weight and nice to have so you are not mixing electrolytes in your nalgene and contaminating your fresh water or use with the coffee driper like I do.

Perfect to free Hot Tea in the Ski Lodge
Bought this for skiing to save a few dollars and it works perfectly. Hot was is free in the lodge. This cup and few tea bags make for a nice and inexpensive warm up during cold days skiing. It's study enough to carry hot water from the hot water dispenser to the table without spilling. On one hand I wish there was an available lid, but a sandwich bag meets that need quite nicely too.

Sea to Summit X-Series Collapsible Silicone Camping Drinkware, Mug (16.2 fl oz)
It took a LONG time to get here but I have been very happy with the quality and how small it shrinks down. It has a sturdy lip so it wont just dribble fluid all over. I like the measurements as well.. Kinda handy for cooking.

So good I bought one for the wife.
I already use an x mug for myself. I rated it so highly, I bought one for my wife.Compact, robust and can fit in the top of many pots used by backpackers. It does not stain not retain smell or flavours so is ideal for coffee and tea. It stands up and does not collapse though very hot liquids do transfer heat - just hold by the top ring to mitigate. The price is ok for what it is and how long it lasts. I highly recommend.

A little wide in actual
Bigger than expected. But good material. Easy to fold. Will use it for travel.

Cracking bit of kit
The best collapsible mug I’ve come across in terms of size, shape, and weight. The heat proof ring for holding is right at the top so it might prove a little awkward when drinking very hot liquids but I’ve gotten used to it and wouldn’t change back.

Perfect addition to a Jetboil Flash.
I'm sure other people have discovered this already. But the Sea to Summit Vaso X-Cup fills the little bit of space inside a packed-up Jetboil Flash, perfectly. So you stop the contents rattling, and get a cup for your drink. It must be the X-Cup though, the X-Mug is too large to fit. I know that technically the burner cover is supposed to double as a cup on the Jetboil Flash. But using an X-Cup keeps the cover clean, and just feels a bit more civilised. The cup itself is the usual X-Range quality. It folds and expands easily. Is quite robust in the hand. And the rigid top ring is comfortable to hold and drink from.
