First one had to be returned as I couldn't stop it rattling when in use. Even with it out of it's installed position and running I could hold it at various angles where it was quiet for a while then started vibrating. The problem seemed to be the way the body of the fan clamps into the ducts, or jets as they call them. Previous fans had clamps that screwed tight, these have plastic overcentre catches. When they are clamped up it's possible to push the clamps tighter by hand. The clamps are not shown in the picture of the item I bought but can be seen in the pictures at http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/images/B004AWHY30/ref=dp_image_0?ie=UTF8&n=11052671&s=outdoorsThere is no way to adjust them to tighten them up and they'd probably break if they could be.The replacement fan seemed to be working fine but has started to rattle occasionally now. I've fiddled with it a bit to stop it doing so- taking the path of least resistance for me- i.e. fiddle with this one rather than looking returning this one too and starting to look for a different one.Bought my fan from Fastlec, Littlehampton. They were very good and easy to deal with in replacing the fan, refunding postage etc, so full marks and thanks to them.

Good extraction rate if a little noisy.

Having been waiting 3 weeks for delivery instead of 5 days, i am very pleased with my purchase. East to fit very quiet and does the job beautifully. Will recommend. Just don't use Royal mail. Thanks.
