Fits the tablet well but the design is flawed 😕
Well, considering that the Fire HD6 is a pretty slippy tablet this case is better than nothing but I'm pretty sure some of the other none amazon products would be better suited. The case itself fits like a glove and seems to be built of reasonably high quality materials but there's a few things that let this case down pretty badly. My first gripe is the hinge, there is way too much play in it which means that when you've got the case closed and you tuck this into a pocket or bag the front flap slides all over the show leaving parts of the screen exposed to the sharp scrappy things that you want your screen protected from. There's no specific magnetic clasp, I think the whole thing is magnetic so it slips and slides like a masseuse on a Twister mat. This has implications for the stand situation as well. It's difficult to tell whether your HD6 is well supported or teetering on the brink of collapse, in fact a regular prodding at the screen very often lifts the magnet away from the rear of the case even if it is originally fully secured. My final pop at this case is the fact that it pulls dye out of your clothes and deeply embeds it in the lovely, rubbery texture of the case. The reason I bought this case is because I bought the lovely Citroen colour of tablet and this is the only case I could find that matches the colour. I chose the colour so I can easily find my tablet in a semi-lit room and to differentiate it from the plethora of other tablets that litter the house, it wouldn't be so bad but I'm the only one who seems to charge them up. Anyway, I popped my Citroen tablet in its lovely Citroen case into my back pocket this evening to carry it and my son upstairs. As soon as I got top of the stairs I took it out and there's some shabby chic staining going on around the edges, not quite the look I'm after and I can't imagine what state it will be in further down the line.Am I going to send it back; no, as I said there's not much choice for the yellow cases (if there is then please get in touch within 29days). I wish it was as good as the Poetic trifold case I had on my Nexus 7. I love the tablet and I'll probably get used to the sloppy tatty case knowing that most of my tablet is safe and snug inside.

Fits like a glove
This is a great case for the Fire HD 6, the material the case is made from feels like premium quality, it's sturdy and fits the tablet like a glove, I did consider spending a few pounds less and buying a 3rd party case like I have for my ipad mini and I'm glad I didn't, the case folds easily to stand the tablet in landscape or portrait, it doesn't fold how you would expect it to though which might be a reason for some of the poorer reviews but once you get used to it it stands easily and doesn't budge. The case also has two volume control buttons on the side, presumably this is for adjusting the volume when listening to music with the cover closed as I can't think how you would be able to use them with the cover open. Amazon Fire HD 6 Standing Protective Case(4th Generation - 2014 release), Cayenne red I would appreciate if you marked this review as helpful or not so that I can improve my future reviews

Good but could be better
The case looks good and has a nice feel. It is nice that it can stand up at any angle (landscape or portrait) without any bulky appendages. I have only given it four stars because it is rather floppy. The studs on the spine to operate the volume are a double edge sword as it makes it easy to press them by accident (on of the majour problems with the ipad is the ease with which you can press buttons accidentally). The case does mark easily but so far it has been easy to clean marks off with a dry cloth.Having said the case is floppy. It is robust around the back and sides. So it offers good protection.

The case is very easy to fit on to the kindle
The case is very easy to fit on to the kindle, gives fairly good protection, but not as good as the origami cases as the front cover moves around a lot which is a bad design fault as the magnetic effect does not seem to work that well, took a while to get used to getting it to stand up on the side as does have a tendency of not working when your new to it, but once you get used to using it does work fairly well, if the origami option had been available for this model I would have gone for that option instead.

Good but too expensive
A good case that fits my Kindle Fire perfectly whilst providing clear access to all its buttons and controls. Open the case and the Fire turns on ,close it and it turns off. The opening flap also acts as a stand once you've figured out the correct way to do this, it's not instinctive (at least not to me.It is well made and is probably durable over a reasonable period. Why 4 * - it's cost! At nearly £30 it is half the cost of the Fire I bought (The Fire was an Amazon deal so would, normally, have cost about £15 more)I recommend this case/cover.

A good case. Pros
A good case.Pros:- Light- Fits the new Fire HD6 very well- Tough, to the point of inspiring confidence - I'm happy to let my 7 year old carry her Kindle Fire around, after 4 days of worry post-ChristmasCons:- Probably a tad expensive for what it is- The 'stand' function doesn't feel brilliant, though I don't know of anyone who doesn't use these as a hand-held device

Great little device
I was looking for something to play my Audible books on as my old iPod Nano wouldnt remember bookmarks and the Audible software for the Nokia Lumia 930 kept resetting & stop-starting. Was on the verge of getting an iPod Touch for £150 when I saw this and basically it is now my new 'Portable Media Hub'I can listen to Audible books, podcasts, music, watch videos, youtube, view emails, social networks, read my Kindle books...just about anything plus with the in-car cradle I can listen to my books on the way top and from work. When I leave the car the device fits well into my trousers or jacket pocket.

stylish cover if a bit.overpriced.
I echoe the previous reviews. Glad I went for a genuine amazon product. Looks stylish and nice feel to it. The reason I did not give 5 stars is I feel it's overpriced for the size of product. Its a quarter of the price what I actually paid for the kindle fire! I would still recommend to others if they want a stylish and practical case.
