6 year old granddaughter’s first year playing softball
First time I’ve had to buy a helmet. When my kids played ball the park district provided helmets. Now they require face protection and the parents have to provide the helmet. It fits her well. Seems well constructed. It’s only been 5 games so time will tell. My granddaughter is an average build 6 year old (6x) if that helps.

Okay, it is hard to find a softball hement with a cage you can see well out of. I felt this has been our best option for quality and for the price. The look of the hement is nice, and simple (can't go wrong with white in this case)

Quality helmet
Great helmet! Daughter had an older RIP-IT helmet that fit her well. Decided to go with the same brand as I know it will fit well. The design pattern on the helmet is hardly visible from a distance which is a good thing as I wanted an all white, glossy helmet. Previously purchased an Evoshield helmet that didn’t quite fit and had to return.
