Go for these, don't bother with ZS5 earlier version - better build, better sound
I'd recently bought the ZS5 as it was a bit cheaper. Please don't make that mistake - get the ZS6, they are a lot better. My ZS5 broke as it is made of plastic, within the first month of use. The ZS6 are made of metal so fingers crossed they wont break. The ZS6 have the same sound signature as ZS5, however I feel the lower-mids are more forward which gives it extra punch. They are also open-back, which helps improve the width of the sound-stage. The are all-round better - they sound better and they are better built too. They are especially strong in separting the top-end from the mids and bass - allowing for more detail, a sense of extended top-end. The bass feels ever-so-slightly flatter than before but nothing worth complainig about. They are good for those who want a very expensive sounding IEM but for a very low cost.I recommend getting the upgrade cable (silver wound) as it does improve the sound, and getting Comply tips, as this also imrpves isolation. All round winners, and such an amazing price - thank you KZ!

Amazing budget IEMs -
This is my initial review after approx one week of use.Have been listening to these as much as I can since I bought them and can honestly say the sound quality for the price I paid is astounding. I got these to replace my KZ-ATEs, that were starting to fail (one of the downsides with non replaceable cables), so I was already familiar with the KZ brand.I wouldn't class myself as an audiophile but I have noticed these are a definite step above the ATEs (which are also amazing budget IEMs). For me there are more noticeable highs and a wider sound stage. Bass could probably be a tad stronger. Overall though the sound is really crisp and I've noticed a lot more nuances in my music that I hadn't noticed before, especially on the high end.Aesthetically, I think they look really slick with what seems to be a fairly solid build quality. Comfort is okay - sometimes the built in ear-loop can be fiddly but I've never owned earphones with this feature so it could just be me getting used to them. The ear-loop is just rubber tubing that wraps the cable and some light wire to give it rigidity - this feature isn't obvious in the product images so I just assumed the cable dangled over and behind the ears similar to the KZ-ATEs.I do plan on getting Comply tips and maybe try the Bluetooth cable to go wireless. For phone calls, the microphone sound quality is adequate - no issues so far but I've not tested in noisy or windy conditions.Overall and these IEMs are a great upgrade for me. They sound and look great and at less than €50 there's no excuse not to buy.I would highly recommend!

Buy cheap, buy twice
This is the 2nd set of these I’ve had and the 2nd to just stop working .1 side just stops working after a few weeks making this product a waste of money. But cheap, buy twice - or 3 times!

Get comply tips and an upgrade cable.
These IEM's are fantastic. They produce a very wide soundstage with excellent separation of the frequencies. You can pick out individual parts of the music that you could never distinguish before unless you own an ultra high-end sound system.*They are good for all types of music*They very slightly exaggerate sub bass. The only downside with this model is exaggerated 10k treble, it was fully mitigated by modifying the balanced armature drive with 1 low-density foam and 1 high-density foam as shown in the image. Please note: get comply tips and allow the headphones to be used for 50h plus before considering this tuning mod.I am a person who would normally spend much more. The KZ ZS6 beat Sennheiser IE80s and IE80s KEF M200 and they destroy 1more quads.Update to review: I performed the following alterationsRemove red dampening and added grey dampening instead. Removed cheese grater grill and installed a DIY modified tip shown in the picture. The result is overall more bass and MidsThe tip I installed also has a high-frequency reduction of about 2 dB.If you do not wish to do all of this and you want to reduce the hyper treble try the OSTRY OS100 / OS200 / OS300 tips. In my mod, I am using the OS200.My references are JBL professional 4333 studio monitors, so I really am a hard customer to please.
