I love these sliders! I have Brazilian engineered hardwood floors and I was worried about scratching the floor with our furniture. Not only did these sliders help us move into our house, we left them under our couches and wine fridge for easy moves when we clean. They handle quite a bit of weight and don't look that bad as a fixture under our furniture legs. You can tuck them in slightly and no one would even notice you have them. After I bought a set, I bought three more for future furniture purchases and to help us move more stuff. I'm totally satisfied with these. They are just the right size for bigger jobs. They don't do well on carpet, just slippery type floors. You can turn them over though and put the fuzzy side up and the black part down and they work only just a bit on carpet, but the hard plastic sliders work best for carpet. They are made well and I like them!

they work very well, and if you put them under heavy furniture, it saves your foot floors from getting scratched. I have brand new vinyl luxury planks, and it can’t be fixed if it gets damaged or scratched this kept my floors from getting scratched when the painters came and painted the upstairs part of my house. I was pleased with the quality and my purchase

My first project involved moving a large solid wood pantry.With the set of four 8" x 5" furniture slides, I was able to easily move the heavy pantry across the vinyl tile floor by myself. More importantly, without any damage to the floor tiles!My second job involved moving a small round solid wood table. Since this table is on a laminate floor, lifting (with help) would have been the only option.With four 8" x 5" furniture slides (one under each table leg), I was actually able to slide the table with just my fingers!These furniture slides are a 'must have' for moving around furniture on hard surfaces.Finally, I don't have to wait on help to move the furniture.With these furniture slides, I can clean behind heavy furniture or, I can redecorate anytime!Hope my review was helpful,Jeffrey A. These are good and do make it easy to move heavy furniture around on hard floors. My only complaint is that they become deformed with indentations after moving very heavy items. Seems they could make the top section of these slides of hard material that would not do this.

Makes items easy to move. They can be left permanently under hard floors, but not the carpet version. I Like them.

I bought four of these and put three of them under a papizan on my pool deck which effectively ruined them but still makes it possible to move that awkward piece ok on a cranky surface. But the true story is the one I had left in good condition that enabled me to move furniture w/o help. My antique desk has two legs in front and a solid to the ground bookshelf on the back and I was able to put the one mover under that part and for once I could move this desk w/o compromising those two skinny legs up front. I'd give it 10 stars.

it goes the work pretty well; I don't know how long it will stay in place: 2 months now.

I needed to clean the exhaust vent of a gas dryer. To do this I needed access to the rear of the dryer. I bought these to move the dryer out of a tight laundry room (really more of a closet) with vinyl flooring. There's a shallow raised bamboo transition/threshold between the room and a bamboo floor outside the room. It was too tight to put the slides under the rear feet originally but putting them under the front feet let me pull the dryer out onto the bamboo floor far enough I could get behind the dryer and clean the vent. I thought I would have to lift the feet over the threshold but by putting the feet near the center of the slides the leading edge slid up on the transition, letting me slide over it. They protected the bamboo completely. I was very pleased with how they worked.I bought them for this specific purpose so this issue did not bother me, but. . . The feet of the dryer pressed into the top of the pads leaving deep indents that make it difficult to use them for anything else. There is some indication these dents are relaxing and may, with time, come partly or completely out.Update: The indents finally came almost completely out7/2016 -- I just used them to pull out the washing machine for a repair. I'm posting a picture.
