Bright and economic.
These bulbs replaced ordinary 40w capsule bulbs - which were dimmer and more expensive to use. So in the 4 bulb fitting we have more light at 12w than we had from 160w in total. It's a no-brainer.Excellent.

Perfect low-energy replacement for standard halogen bulb
Bought these bulbs to replace my standard halogen bulbs which kept blowing. Have previously been wary of led bulbs for focused lighting as they can be too harsh, but these bulbs are perfect. The light output exactly replicates the warm light of a filament bulb, but at a fraction of the energy uptake!

Light flickers very much
Light is bright but there is flickering which makes me go dizzy. Not what I expected.

Exceptional value for money bulbs
Bulbs arrived promptly and are working fine. They are exceptionally good value coming out to a little over a pound per bulb.

Unbearable flicker
There is a mains frequency flicker on these which is almost imperceptible. It creates trails after moving objects though and became unbearable for me once I noticed it. Too late to return so bought some others instead.
