Features optimised for use under water
The media could not be loaded. 🔦 This is a diving head torch with a rubber headband that is adjustable. The torch is rechargeable and comes with a decent battery, although it is quite heavy. The torch is not neutrally buoyant, which is something to bear in mind. I really like that the headpiece that the straps connect to is also made of thick rubber plastic and is therefore a little gentler than the hard ABS versions. It does look like it is designed to have an over-head strap, but that is not included.🐟 The torch works well and is acceptably bright without being blinding, which you definitely don’t want right next to your face. The controls are standard across this kind of torch, with three levels of brightness, strobe, and SOS, all activated by a single button. This standardisation is important because it allows a stranger to be familiar with how the torch works in an emergency.🐬 The most important feature besides the brightness of the torch is the IP68 rating. I couldn’t investigate how well the switch performed in that regard, as that is one possible way that the water can gain ingress, but the battery compartment has double O-rings and the threads appear to be greased as well. The kit includes a spare set of O-rings, as opening and closing the battery compartment takes some effort and the O-rings will wear over time. The claim is for 60 metres of maximum depth, which is the deep dive limit anyway, making this torch suitable for recreational diving.🐠 There is no charging port, which is a good thing in my view. Even though it makes charging inconvenient, the charge port is a common way for water to get into the torch, so its absence is another good design choice.🤿 The torch is made of durable aluminium and can be swivelled up and down in its housing. It is never a substitute for a proper dive light, but its features are reasonably well thought out with underwater use in mind, and for that reason it gets 5 stars from me. ✔️

Nice
The media could not be loaded. Really nice device, perfect for underwater lighting but can also be used on hiking trips at night. Adjustable headstrap, very lightweight and rechargeable battery with a charger included, and clear instructions on setup in the manual (at first I couldn't get it to come on as apparently I hadn't properly tightened the battery cover, this makes it easy for water to get in so the device won't even come on of not properly capped). The light is extremely Bright and a simple press of the button changes brightness, and changes settings to flashing etc. Lovely little lighting device m recommend

Bright
As of yet I haven't tested this diving headlamp in the water but the ad states it is water proof up to 60m. I use this head light at night, taking the dogs for a walk. It has 5 different settings with the highest giving off 3000 lumens of light and the lowest 1000. This product also states that it will give 7 hours of use from the battery, this would be on the lowest level…. using on a higher setting would be less. I cant confirm this as after each use I put it back on charge and I haven't been out for a 7 hour walk using it! I am impressed with the brightness of this, it gives off a lot of light and is comfortable to wear with its stretchy band which is adjustable, it makes dog walking in the dark a much safer and less intimidating chore… The lamp is well made and feels of quality and I wouldn’t be without it now.

Powerful but gets hot
It's powerful and robust looking but it gets very hot, after 10 mins, almost too hot to touch. The rubber strap is not that comfortable although holds it on to you head well. The heat is the main issue.

A nice quality waterproof light
You receive what feels like a well made head torch, the casing feels is well made, has a good quality feel to it, and is water tight. The band is adjustable and will fit okay round your head. This will work as a standard headlight, but can also be used for underwater, I do snorkel, and tried this quickly, its bright, but doesn’t penetrated the really dark underwater, but it did light a pathway under water very wellIt is rechargeable you’ll need a USB charger to charge it.Light is bright, not the easiest on and off, but does work okayThe only real issue, is the weight and balance, a hefty lamp, and you’re going to struggle with this on your head for any long amount of time. This is okay, priced well for the quality, and that it waterproof.

Works perfectly
First impressions when you take this head torch out of it's packaging is that it oozes quality, from it's weight, it's aluminium construction to the silicone head band/strap, it really is well made.Like most things it is best to read the little manual booklet first. You get two spare seals for the battery compartment which I feel is a good touch and thoughtful of the manufacturer. It comes with it's own batter charger which takes about 2 hours to charge the battery. I think the reason behind the battery charger is so there's no charging point in the head torch which would be a weak point for leaks at deeper depths. The torch itself is nice and bright with a concentrated beam so is focused on what you are looking at.The torch also has the obligatory 5 modes, high brightness, medium brightness, low brightness, strobe and SOS.Really please with this head torch and think it is well worth the price and the full 5 stars I've given.

Battery stopped charging
We have bought this about a year ago and the battery has fully stopped charging. Can't find a way of buying a new battery either so left with a piece of equipment I cannot use avoid its cheap for a reason.
