Excellent for cooking
Perfect. As far as my internet research goes, Coconut Oil comes in two varieties: Cold Pressed/Raw/Organic and Refined. The first is made with fresh coconuts and has a lot of health benefits and is good for eating raw. However, it's not so good for cooking because of its low burning point (about 177°C). This is because impurities can be safely left in the oil during the process. Its the impurities that are burning. The refined oil is made from dried coconuts and is refined to take out the impurities, as the dried coconuts are probably sourced from multiple locations and have been dried in the sun. So although it might not be quite as healthy as the Raw oil, it is perfect for cooking because it has a much higher burning point (about 204°C). The refining process also takes away the coconut taste and smell, so you could even deep fry chips in it if you really wanted to.

Suspicious
I've been buying coconut oil from different sources for a few years. This is first time I believe this product can be any other type of oil but not coconut. There is no information on the tub apart from the name of it, which makes me even more suspicious about it's origin and real ingredients. I wouldn't waste your money on this.

good product and the best part is that you can just zap it in the microwave in the container without problem when you need it in tablespoons as opposed to by weight in a solid state. Perfect for making vegan butter.
