I am not as impressed as everyone else seems to be by this rack. For me, I didn't anticipate how much the cooking times would vary between the top and bottom. The way the air fryer seems to be marketed is that the air flows down then back up. I realized right away that the bottom layer of food would likely cook marginally slower, but not as slow as it seems to cook. I've tried chicken wings and empanadas so far using the rack. I was hoping to knock out more food at once so I could serve it all at once, but I find a need a good extra 50% more cook time for the items on the lower part to finish cooking after removing the items on the top rack. Obviously, this is just the nature of how this thing really does cook and move air and I can easily adjust accordingly. That is why I give it 4 stars and nothing less.It is sturdy. I haven't used the included skewers, but they look like they can really hold up to a good stabbing. The rack isn't hard to clean, but it does take away from a tiny bit of space on the bottom. I store it in the air fryer because it is small and would probably get lost in a sea of as-seen-on-tv gadgets I just had to have over the years.

I love my Air Fryer, but I regret choosing the smaller size. I was glad to see this double layer rack available so I can cook a little more at a time. This model fits my  Philips HD9621/26 Viva Turbo star Air fryer, White  perfectly. It lets me spread out foods that should not be piled on top of each other and also lets me cook two different items at one time. The two layers are more shallow, so the top layer gets done a little faster. I have to either time it right or move things around during baking.I would love to see something like this with a mesh rack made like the bottom of the Air Fryer basket. This would help keep small foods from potentially falling down to the lower layer.The set includes 4 little skewers, but I've never needed them so I can't comment on how well they function. However, they are very sturdy and should hold up for a long time.

The Philips air fryer is a huge part of our life. We use it everyday and sometimes multiple times a day. Due to the small capacity, I have been looking for ways to increase the capacity. The double rack is the perfect solution. The rack is made with very good quality metal. The skewer sticks came in handy last night for my Chicken satay. I love how I was able to cook 4 skewers at the same time while I prepared other food. The clean up was easy after I soaked it in water with a few drops of dish washing liquid. I have not used the conventional oven since I got the air fryer. The air fryer technology is a game changer. I have given them away as gifts and every receipent loved it. Philips is a reliable brand. I bought an $50 air fryer initially and after 4 uses, it was no longer operational.

have already used it multiple times. makes it easy to cook for two. it's a little hard to remove if you have to turn over the items on both levels because it gets very hot, so i use metal tongs to carefully pick it up and place it back in. But it's very easy to clean. It does make the cooking time a little longer. To broil 4 thick ribs might take as long in this as it would in the oven, but it's a lot healthier and jucier in the air fryer, and easier to clean up.

I love my Philips Turbo AF but the drawback is its size...before I bought the rack, it took me 2-3 batches to make sweet potato fries in my Air Fryer. Now, I can make it in one batch so it stays hot! It came with skewers but I haven't tried using those yet. Believe it or not, my MAIN reason I bought the rack was to make delicious sweet potato fries ! It isn't high enough to cook chicken thighs - maybe a thin steak or porkchop. Also note: It did increase my cooking time by 50% but I would still rather cook them in one batch where everything is the same temperature. Just wish this accessory actually came with the Philips AF - they certainly charge enough ;)

Really indispensable if you're into using your Philips Airfryer. Just pay attention that you're ordering for the right Airfryer model as they are not all interchangeable. This little accessory will double the size of your cooking area within the fryer basket by giving you a second shelf. I find it works very well with my Airfryer Fried Chicken recipe, allowing me to cook four large chicken thighs at one time. That said, realize that the top shelf will cook chicken a little quicker than the bottom shelf, so I remove the two cooked chicken thighs on the top shelf after thirty minutes of cooking time and go an additional five minutes on the lower rack.

Within the limitations of the machine, it does what it's supposed to do. I wish it was taller, but then you'd have to make the machine taller, so that's a stupid wish.It works really well for crisping up sub sandwiches, one on top, and one on the bottom. Not so well for a double layer of fries (because you should shake them and you can't do that well with the rack in). I've "air fried" double layers of ravioli, egg rolls, and pot stickers with success. I just have to remember to toss the ingredients with a little oil first, or they stick. Coating the rack with a quick spray of olive oil helps too. Both layers come out crisp and hot.

In the future I hope that they package this product or something similar into all air fryers because from a functional standpoint it doubles how much you are able to cook and allows it to cook evenly. My food cooks better, faster, the way the air fryer was designed. I would have bought this a while ago had I known it existed instead of layering food on top of itself. I will update if a defect develops as I have only had it for a week, but regardless, so far so good.

If you are using the Air Fryer to grill meat/fish, this thing is pretty much essential. It is easier to clean than the basket (found the sides of basket especially hard to frequently clean), does a better job cooking it than the mesh, and allows me to fit larger pieces of meat in (the surface area is only a little larger, but you no longer have to worry about trying to cram everything into the basket).It is a bit expensive for another accessory and I feel like it should have came with the air fryer over the basket, but it is most certainly a useful product if you're using your air fryer to grill.

Something so simple is so essential. This effectively doubles your cooking space for your AirFryer, which probably explains why there are a number of models that have this packaged in with it. Sturdy, easy to clean, and even comes with little skewers. I've placed a number of food items on here (pineapple, chicken wings, potato slices), and never had any problem with it fitting.My only complaint is that the price is a bit high for something so simple (and something that should really be packaged with the AirFryer to begin with), and that anything placed on the bottom doesn't cook quite a well as items in the top rack.

In spite of the excessively high price of this, I am glad I purchased it.I have not used the kebab skewers so can not comment upon those.PROS:Easy to use. Simply set it inside the airfryer and you have a second levelEffectively doubles surface area. I use my airfryer most often for wings and with this I can make enough for two people in one batch, rather than needing to make two batches.Easy to cleanCONSThe price! Really $10-15 should be enough.When using it for wings, I like to turn the wings halfway through. It's a bit of a hassle with this as I need to take it out of the airfryer (tongs and/or oven mitts) in order to turn the wings underneath it. Annoying but still easier and faster than two separate batches of wings.

Less useful than expectedThis seemed to be a good item to double efficiency of the airfyer. But the shelf is too low to the mesh basket below and often will sit on top of the food item below. The sides take up some space so the food item on the bottom mesh basket must be moved closer to the center of the basket. This wastes some space around the sides.The skewers work well when there is nothing in the bottom basket.

Could not rated as there was no handle with it. Strange that the handle would not be included. I'm still in the process of ordering one.
