Bomber Lures Badonk-A-Donk Topwater Fishing Lure - Saltwater Grade

I usually love the products of Yo-Zuri, all of them. Gave it a try but I am not impressed with this one. With a swivel it doesn't work at all anymore and even without I am not able to give it a good action I get with others. Disappointed but will try to figure out how to fish with it. Didn't catch a single fish with it so far.

A bit tough to use in the Florida ocean surf but on calmer surf days snook, blues, and jacks have it on the lure. Lure Does NOT create a lot of top water commotion by design but enough to attract some fish. Lure is a bit light too for casting

Great lures of you know how to use correctly

Used in both saltwater flats and freshwater below dams. Good walk the dog action. My best success with this lure is fast twitch of rod tip imparting an injured baitfish fluttering on the surface; especially below dams in fast current. I use 7.6 MH with braid line and mono leader. The target saltwater species are speckled trout and red drum (redfish); and freshwater species are white bass and their hybrids.

Bomber Saltwater Grade Badonk-A-Donk High PitchI have purchased lures since the mid sixties and I feel the Bomber line of saltwater lures are as good or better than any other brand, mostly better. This lure was bought because of this quality, the design and finish quality. The hooks are sharp enough and don't corrode as much as some carbon makes. The eyelets and tie point are set into the lure body tight and don't loosen up and it tracks through the water like a baitfish giving it's final tries to escape. I can't hear the pitch when it's under water, so I'll just have to go with the Manufacturer saying it does. I like it a lot. 5 Stars.

Good product

If you are a striper fisherman these are ideal for light action rods for schoolies in harbors or off inlets I've caught hundreds of fish this season on this plug as well at the basonka a donk bone bomber. I 90% of the time I'm fishing have one of the 2 colors tied on. Definitely recommend have had a strong season of abuse no bent hooks, minor rust on split rings, but again ive used and abused these plugs this season
